is there a bratty side in you?

Hi there kenchiprincess! I think that there is that bratty side in all of us. It's just that we differ in the level of how bratty we are at times. In my case, there really is a very brat side of me. Sometimes people mistake me for being arrogant because of it. The truth is I only act like a brat when I do not agree with something or someone. But I rarely act like a brat. I think I have outgrown that to a certain extent.

I can really say that I am a brat. My mom raised me and my elder brother to get what we want all the time because they promised to themselves to give us a comfortable life that they never experienced before. Until we grew up with that kind of attitude. I can say that we had a great life because both of our parents worked with a very nice job and salary. But it changed when my dad lost his job and in the same time my mom gave birth to our younger brother. It was very hard for us. We have to live a life that we never used to have. It was a huge adjustment. Now that I am married, my husband said I am really a brat! hahaha. Still get what I want. If not, I would get upset. Which I do need to change that. I know not all things I want, I can have it. Maybe being the only daughter is one of the good reasons why I am being spoiled by my mom and now, my husband!

there is a bratty inside of me that i am trying to control. i am a christian now.. and everytime that i wanted things, i would pray. though the urgency, i wanted it right there and then, but now, i learned how to wait.. i am brat, but under the care of the Lord..

I am exactly like you. I can be bratty sometimes but I was raised in a well loved home with good values, morals and respect for the elders. I'm trying to raise my daughter the same. And like you, I did get quite a bit of what I wanted and that's what makes me a little bratty now. I still expect it. I don't help much when it comes to my daughter either. I want her to have anything she wants and sometimes its quite pricey but I try to do what i can. I think I'm creating amonster but at least she has good values and respect. I think we all have a bratty side to us. That's what happens when parents and family members give you things!

I can be a brat sometimes. I get what i want. Even at work i am kind of spoiled and get what i want. I do have respect for other people though. My friends even say I'm a brat and so does my mom! I am not that horrible though. I don't give people an attitude or anything like that i just know how to get what i want.
