What is your favourite genre?

With so many genres, I was wondering what seems to be the most popular.
Out of all of mine, I would have to say Heavy Metal tops the lot. I love blues, rock 'n' roll, death metal etc. but I feel heavy metal (at least 90% of the bands I listen to anyway) has more powerfull emotions that come pouring out in brute force, really in your face and with meaning behind the lyrics and the guitar.
of course, thats just my opinion, whats yours?

Listen to your classical rock, mister. You get deep into it and you will see. Listen to 38 Special, Ted Nugent, and Led Zepplin, The Who, The Eagles,and The Moody Blues. So many more. Gets you down to the core.

It is probably classic rock. Or maybe just rock in general. I listen to a lot of The Doors, Leonard Cohen, Radiohead, The Cure. I don't know. I listen to lots of classical, too, and bands like TMBG I wouldn't call myself eclectic, though - but that's because I don't like the word.

It's hard to pick just one fave :P But, my top would probably be techno. It's rather colorful and makes me want to dance! haha, I also enjoy powerpop, pop, 80s, rock, hiphop and indie.

I like alternative rock best, followed by heavy metal. You should to go pandora.com and put in some of your favorite bands in a radio station and they will play TONS of your favorite music some you might not have heard but will love anyways.
