Living in the United States

Singapore
November 5, 2006 8:55pm CST
I'm a Singaporean and it has always been my dream to be able to live and settled down in the US. From a humble family background my highest qualification is High School (Junior College). Currently, I'm working as an Office Manager in a life science industry. I'm married and is currently working on a separation. Moving to the US would allow me to start things fresh. US is a land with plenty opportunities. I've tried paid job via Internet. Unfortunately, most if not all are offered only to US or Canadian residents. I'm conscientious and not afraid of hard work. I'm looking to work legally in the US and would also like to explore the possibility of finding a life partner. What do you think my chances are in fulfiling my dream? Thanks.

You have a strong dream, and a clear path. Achieving your dream should not be a major difficulty. Keep up hope and don't lose track and you should become successful.

Your chances are only limited by your desires. I believe you would do well over here with that kind of thinking. Work up a plan to make your dreams come true. Stay focused on what you want in life...eventually you will get it. Never give up your dreams.

Lemongrass18, Any dream can become a reality if you have a well thought out game plan. Your personal life mirrors your professional life as it pertains to what you get from it, is what you put into it. Whether it is in your native land or here in the U.S., planning ahead and doing thorough research is the key to success. Of course if you're absolutely sure you want to move to the U.S., there's going to be the added pressure of assimilating to a new culture. Make sure you have a good support network. ‹(°¿°)›
