This is highly unlikely. The battery drain to transmit that much energy would limit cell phone battery life to a minute or two.
I recall how micro wave ovens came to be invented. In the early days of radar technology, one of the technicians had a habit of carrying unpopped pop corn in his pocket. One day he walked in front of the antenna while it was transmitting. (This was in the early days before they knew this was dangerous). His pop corn popped. The only thing of it was that was a pretty powerful radar. Cell phones contain transmitters of maybe 200 milliwatts. The typical microwave oven is at least 300 watts, usually 500 watts. 200 milliwatts is 1/5 of a watt. This means a typical microwave oven is 2500 times more powerful than a cell phone.
I don't think a few cell phones popped any pop corn.

I actually saw this a while ago and it has already been proven to be a fake. I think they had some kind of heat source under the table or something.

It is scary. I guess I will have to buy one of those head sets with the cords so that I does not zap me. I wonder if those head sets are bluetooth. Oh well I can pretend I am listening to music. And I wanted to get an IPHONE. Why did they tell of the dangers of cell phones after I bought one? Makes me rather upset and I wanted to use mine a lot and I get free calls in the evenings and weekends.

That is funny! Almost makes me want to try it. On the other hand it also makes me wonder if these people have way too much time on their hands. And somehow I don't think that pitcher was "just" orange juice. LOL.

I watched the video. Amazing. Those three guys really did a nice job.
I think the radiations emitted through the cellphone caused it. It is a nice way to make popcorn.
I am a member of dailymotion and love this site. It's video quality is better than youtube.

I won't believe it, cause it isn't real! It seems impossible to me.
Mobile phones don't release heat or whatever "energy" that's great enough to pop popcorn kernels. I highly doubt this can actually happen, or our brains'd be fried through by now. This is just another example of a hoax that's trying to frighten the public into believing there's harm in using cell phones.
