Ghost Whisperer

I was just playing around in myLot when I decided to take a break and go downstairs, get a snack and watch a bit of telly. So there didn't appear to be much on so I flicked through the channels, as you do, and I came across this show called Ghost Whisperer. I know nothing about this program but I felt compelled to watch it and thought it was great. I have no idea if I was watching the first episode of the first season or what. It has not been advertised on British tv that I am aware of so that is why I didn't know it was on.
Does anybody know anything about this show? Is it good all the way through the season? Do you watch it? What do you think of it?

Season 4 starts October 3rd, 2008. I have watched every season and have enjoyed them. If you post who is in the show, then I can quickly tell which season. Every season there has been a change in the cast. I'm not happy with the newest casting change and not sure how well this one is going to be to the viewers.

I remember it perfectly well. This was the Ghost Whisperer characters best friend. She was an African American.. I saw this a few times. I think her name was Angela on the show.. Her brother was alive in the end, but she did not survive.. It is like some man from the dark side ha her trapped in his own dimension. Her eye sockets would be very white. She was having a difficult time sending a message to her best friend, Melinda Gordon.. It was very creepy!!

It has been on for ages, I think the UK is on the third series.
It's usually as good as tonight's episode, but it is a little bit sickly sweet - if you know what I mean.
I prefer to watch Medium (which was also on tonight on BBC1), it just seems to be a little more real.
I do watch them both, but Medium in my opinion is a lot better, and the actors in Medium are better I think.
I don't know why, but in Ghost Whisperer I end up watching what the lead actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is wearing because it is usually so weird. Her bum must be a bit on the large side, because she is always wearing stuff to try and cover it up.
Anyway, good series.

Yes I must admit I did find it a bit twee in places. I used to watch that series about a woman who was like a medium, I can't remember what it was called it had that guy from teachers in it, Andrew somebody I think - sorry brain is clearly on melt down. I have not heard of the show medium, how many series has there been? I think in Britain our shows tend to be a bit darker than the American's programs as we tend to show things more life like and we don't have the financial support to make them more fantasy based with spectacular special effects, do know what I mean?

It's a drama series. But it is based on someone's actual experiences.

Oh I know the one you mean. Can't for the life of me remember the name - it was something like Supernatural - but that is another American series.
Yeah, that was good too and she was really amazing - she's guested on Dr Who as well, where she was fantastic!
Medium is in its third series and was on BBC1 last night I think about 10.30pm
Old series are on the SciFi channel if you have Sky. Its really worth a try.

i love ghost whisperer! it has been on for 3 or 4 seasons atleast. i'm not sure how many because i tend to lose track of it. i had no idea that it has been 10 seasons of CSI already. ghost whisperer is great though. I don't think i've ever watched an episode that i didnt like. if you like it and like to buy shows on dvd i highly recommend it. i've thought about buying it myself.

i watch it most of the time but have grown a little tired of it.i'm ready for some new shows to come on, realy tired of reruns.

I love this program. Before, I am a fanatic of Charmed but now, I am more indulge in the Ghost Whisperer. Sad though because it is being shown here at noon and since I am working all day in the office, I cannot watch this show now. Thank goodness we have online streaming and uploading/downloading of videos in the net that is why I can still enjoy my favorite program even if I am at work.

I love this show. I happened to catch it one friday when it first started because I didn't remember when it started and since that day I have not missed an episode. I can't wait for the fourth season to start.

That is great when you enjoy a show you don't miss it and feel sad when the season ends but then you have the next season to look forward to. I have no idea, what season or what episode I caught. I would very much like to see it from the very begining to see what I have been missing!!

I watched it one night and I didn't like it but my mom watches it all the time and told me I just happened to watch on a night that the show was not very good. I usually like shows about ghosts I love the show Medium can't wait till that one starts again.

I like this show very much. I love jennifer love hewitt's character melinda. The stories are also very well written. I'm from the philippines and i saw every season of ghost whisperer. Every episode features a ghost and why the ghost seeks melinda's help. Melinda is a medium. I also like her loving relationship with her husband. Continue watching this show. It's really great.

I hope to catch the show again and I can only assume that it is on again the same time next week but the voiceover only said what was on next on other channels and didn't anything about Ghost Whisperer. I will have to check the tv listings regularly!!
