I read this news from yahoo ews this morning and I cant help but feel so much joy with such a news. 9 years is such a long long years and maybe I would have thought the cat will never be back in my arms. I know the owners must have kissed the cat no stop, coz if it happened to me I would do the same to my cat. Wow, im extremely happy. Thank God the cat have a microship to identify that it was really their lost dixie.

Amazing! I read about a similar story while I was at the vets office a few years ago. I couldn't believe that it was the same cat until I read that the cat had been microchipped. I love happy endings.

Its nice to note that some one took care of the cute cat and really gave her the affection for nine long years.

Wow!!! that's absolutely amazing. it's so great to hear a happy story like this. I agree with you. Were this my cat, I would never let her out of my sight again, and I'd probably kiss her to pieces. My husband would likely do the same thing. We really really really really love our cats.

Well, thats a really nice story to hear, when all hopes were gone, suddenly theres a light in a seemingly dark and hopeless situation, 9 years is really very long but its really possible. Im just glad the cat survived and nothing bad happened.

Wow that is amazing !! Maybe I will see my cat again , she disappeared last year and we have not seen her since but others say they think they have seen her . She was an indoor cat and we let her out one day and we have never seen her since . I would love to have her back although I don't know that she would care to see all the others cats we took in after she left . We had just had her fixed a few weeks before she took off and it was really hard at firt because we had taken her and her sister and it is still hard to look at the other cat and not think about her because they looked so cute together . 9 years is a really long time so if one can go nine years and the cat come back to them then it is possible that after a year mine may come back to us . The children would be so happy if she did because we looked everywhere for her and when we go out they are still looking to see if they can spot her where others have said they seen her . The only problem is we have been told that she is quite wild and no one can get close to her .

I don't microchip my cat I don't know how much it costs but with the economy right now I can't do that yet. I am happy the cat found her home back. I know my previous cats were killed by abusers there was no way we could have them back, but since then I only keep my pet indoors. It means continuous cleaning but I'd rather cleaning the house than losing my cat to abusers outside or car crash.

here in our country I have not heard it being used by anyone I know but I saw it on tv on a local station so its really used by those who can afford it. Maybe this microchip thing costs alot. Have a nice day and happy mylotting!!!!
