Corporate look with our new office uniform...

I like the new set of uniforms our company gave us, aside from its free, I can realy feel a sense of corporate feeling and a touch of class while wearing it, as if it gives me agood feeling and a great feeling to work with enthusiasm. Its great that they gave us free uniforms and impose strict rule about wearing the uniform. Theres a touch of class in the office seeing all of us in uniform and a sense of excitement to work every day.

Gee you must work for a good company, when I was working they tried to get us to wear uniforms but we had to buy them, needless to say not many did, one because they were too expensive and two they were so ugly, so it your company has gone to the trouble to get nice looking uniforms and give them to you for free, then I say qo points to them...

Its not a very big compnay, its just a struglling telecommunications compnay. we used to pay only 20% for our uniforms and this is the first time that they are giving it for free. Its a good evelation and a nice gift to all employees.

I certainly hope you don't lose your job. Although that's not always a bad thing. The company I worked for in Australia had a change of direction, and all employees, except the four directors, in Australia lost their jobs. That's when I moved to THailand and started teaching, I was an accountant in Australia, and my life changed for the better. I know I wouldn't have had such happiness if I had stayed in Australia, especially doing my old job. So every cloud has a silver lining.

A good uniform can add a really strong image of professionalism. If they expect you to wear uniforms, it should be free. Otherwise that would be quite a hardship. Wearing uniforms also lets you see at a glance if a customer or client comes in.

Yes thats true, theres a sense of motivation and excitment, i look forward to wearing it everyday, it also feels good when co-workers compliment us.

It is nice that you feel very comfortable in wearing your uniform... and since they are given for free... that is an additional factor... i hate wearing uniforms... because most of them tend to be very very uncomfortable... with my current job... i do have a set... but i don't wear them... because it is quite impractical because i am the only one in the office... so i only wear them during meetings...

Hehehe, wow you are alone in the office. I guess its ok not to wear uniform. It sounds really lonely to me. I hope you enjoy your work even if you are alone.

That is one of the good thing that are commonly happened in the office and that other is giving for all of you Guys in the office free of charge and here in Kuwait we are doing or practice of the same rules and it is one of the classic and a good rules for a big company. Hope that everyday you are excited to go from work because you love to do it for yourself and for the whole family. Good Luck

well i agree with you having a uniform free of charge or whatever is cool and besides if it looks good on you the more that its a plus for you..and besides wearing uniform you dont have to worry what your going to wear everyday when working..

When I was working also , I am always excited with our new uniform! The policy we have before every M-Thursday, we can wear uniform, different uniforms because every year we are given 2 different styles and that is for Monday to Tuesday and the old set will be for Wednesday and Thursday and Friday is wash day!Cool!
ANyway, I know how exciting it is, enjoy and like you when I love the uniform, I am motivated to work more harder! LOL![/i]

I envy you. Our uniform doesn't look good at all. But, yes, it adds to the corporate image that the company is trying to project, and, at the same time, it makes me feel like I belong, too.

It is nice that your company offers you free uniform, but I am sorry to say that we have no uniforms to wear as we are not demanded to. Only those students in our school are demanded, but not us teachers. 
I also wish the school to offer us teachers school uniforms if possible.

Heyz! Free? Wow, how cool is that? Can you show us photos of these uniforms? How does it look? When i used to work, i liked wearing office uniforms but only a couple of the three (or was it four?) sets gave me that "corporate" feeling. I liked the basic color combination. And i liked the slacks. I was not so much into wearing skirts, much so minis. :)

Wow your company must be good to supply quality uniforms to you for no charge! I bet they look really classy! I know that uniforms look classier than if they tell people to wear the same thing!
I hope my company decides to do the same thing as well, as that would be amazing!

Good for you, you like those uniforms provided by your company. Me, I'm really sick wearing office uniforms. I don't want to see myself being so formal, I don't want people to recognize me by my position. I just want them to see the natural way, for me people become a loaf sometimes because they treat you with high regards with your position.
