Why we are overrun with lizards? I walked out of the house with my camera this morning and this is the scene that awaited me. Our yard is like a wave of lizards when you walk out there.

Wow - was going to respond from email but wanted to see the photo first. I was expecting millions of them all over your yard. He's a cute little thing :) Ok maybe they heard the weather report and were told to evacuate Texas - we had millions of them down there, older sons were little then and loved playing with the lizards.

We have tons of them all year long. These two were having a good time this morning lol. I was able to get real close and they didn't move at all...they were very intent on what they were doing lol.

The shame of it all! Right there in the open. I just can't believe my eyes. Are you sure you didn't photoshop that picture?

I should herd some of mine up and send them to you. I have seen another batch of teeny tiny ones.

Well, there you go! A new photo op every day! I totally love lizards. Whenever I see one on the sidewalk I squeal with joy. Usually that scares the poor little guy away, though. I guess you need a good telephoto lens and a fast shutter speed to capture those guys. Jack rabbits are like that too! Very fast on the withdraw.

It was very funny they were so preoccupied they allowed me to get real close to them. the lense was about a hands length away from them!

Hey sweet! What a great shot! Nice and close! I love it! My Mom lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and she has those tiny green ones all over the place. The come in the house and run all around. She hates them and I'm ashamed to say it but she steps on them like their bugs. When I saw her to it I screamed at her! She's 77! She said "I don't want them in my bed"! I told her don't kill them around me. They are sooooooo cute! I wanted to bring them home, but the my cats would probably kill them! I'm just a nature lover! I can't help it!

LOL you would be in paradise in my front yard. We have teeny tine little baby ones, small ones, medium ones, and large ones. they are everywhere and yes occasionally inside. They love to jump around and play in the sweet potato vines.

I had a friend that had lizards come in and live in her television when she was in Hawaii. I do not mind them, but I would not really want that either.
