A little insanity

This place needs a little insanity, to balance out all the serious discussions that are on this site. A spark here and there can be a most wondrous thing, something to make you think, yes, but often, something to make you chuckle or even downright laugh so hard you think you'll wet yourself One of my best buddies on here says they are leaving. I wish things like that didn't happen on sites like this one, too much drama and the trolls win, the great ones say they have had enough, so they quit It's sad, very, very sad. So, tell me, don't you agree that mylot could do with some insanity now and then?

There have been some down times where everybody is venting about the economy, the election is this year and its coming upon the winter months and cabin fever is starting to remind people of the holidays and family and shopping and blah blah blah. But if you want a little insanity just wait. First I'll need to work my way out of this straight jacket and I'll collect my crayons and then sneak past the white coats. There, ahhhh, fresh air, cough cough, smog and global warming! I do think there needs to be some goofballs who strip away the seriousness, have fun people!

Since mylot expresses Life, it cannot be all seriousness. I plan on having fun What's the worst that can happen, they take away my shiny heels?

Have a great weekend yourself! Hopefully, a troll free weekend for us all I do hope they don't leave, the place just wouldn't be the same without her around to make me laugh like crazy at her antics.

Hi fwidman, You are right, with so many friends of ours had gone we have to take over their mantle so to speak and bring back the laughter that they have done in the past, there has been so doom and gloom we have to do someting about it, right now. Tamara

I agree, we do need a little insanity from time to time. And, I shall miss those crazy discussions. But, you know what, we can all carry on, in her honor. We will survive, if we continue to remember the insanity.

Sure, I think a little insanity is great, you are not living if you don't have a little. Being serious all the time is not good for you. Every one can take some fun every now and then that is why I participate in some of the humorous discussion. There is a time for everything and time to laugh and a time to play..Come on guys lets have a little insanity

That's what the Bible says, there is a time for everything I'd much rather be joking around than serious. I mean, how serious can I be with avatars like mine/

I think it may need some PLANNED insanity. People takes things WAY to seriously, feelings get hurt and then they leave, often without finding just what the heck is really going on. MyLot is a community, and within there are many different members. It seems that people need to learn some tolerance and just plain grow up! One member even admitted to me that he was especially controversial last month. Why would someone deliberately choose to be this way? Everyone should take a collective breath and realize that this is a much smaller community than the country they live in and that we're all different and just be mature enough to rise above it! Sheesh, just grow up people!

Ive always been a bit 'off'--heck I even wore a dog collar with a padlock in my senior portrait! We all have responsibilities--family, friends, work (yes my priorities are skewed!) but sometimes life becomes a pressure cooker and we just need to get our funk down! Do it however you need--wear a weird shirt, sing karaoke in your front yard, walk backwards....whatever you need to do--just remember that we're all unique! Embrace everyone's uniqueness!

That's why my kids called me crazy. I planned every minute of it, because I had a household to manage and organize. So, there was ne'er a minute to spare. XXXXX

OKOK damn it! You can have your shoes back, Kitty can have her handcuffs back, and I'll try not to lose my mind completely keeping up with you! Fwidman - you have stolen my heart and I do so appreciate this little discussion. If I can't make a go of it on gather.com I'll return and spark some insanity into you all once again. Deal?

Part of that is a deal. But, the handcuffs are mine, not hers. I just used them cuffs on her yesterday so she couldn't protect her butt from me spanking her I look forward to anything you want to share with us

I don't know what it is about the females around here, they are always stealing my shoes! The trolls are always going to be somewhere online, so I try not to let them bug me too much. I'd more than likely be inclined, most days, to tell them what part of my anatomy they can kiss

Well, the insanity is what I was here for! Geesh! I love insanity. My children knew from a very young age that their mother was crazy. They would say so if you asked them, really. My verdict: MYLOT COULD DO WITH ALOT OF INSANITY ALL THE TIME!!!

Great idea! I absolutely agree with you on that. The reason we came here, as for myself i am certain is to have fun. Then, why lose the fun and not just enjoy. I am here for fun and make friends and learn a little about them and their country whatever it is they are willing to share and not make enemies. So, let's just have fun and enjoy!

I agree. A shift away from money earning site topics and other inane and repetitive topics would be great! The problem though is that whenever someone takes a leap of faith and thinks outside the box the responses don't always come so they go back to the standard stuff. It is not just a case of people coming up with new creative and exciting topics; it is a case of us supporting those that do also so they keep on doing it!
