What Animals make the best pets.

I am writing a article, on animals and I was wondering if I could have a few moments of your time. A small survey in which all you have to do, is Tell me what animal makes the best pet and why. Try to include cats/dogs but try to think outside that box as well. So What do you think makes the best pet?

I say a fish because it's less demanding than a cat or dog. Also they don't make much noise, aside from the tank, and they're pretty.

I would say that it just depends on your age and the type of persont hat you are. Me i love cats and small dogs. Just becuase thats something i know that i can handle and take care of easily.
