How do women have friends after they get married?

I'm watching a Bridezilla marathon right now, and these girls are so awful to their friends, HOW can they keep their friends after the wedding?? One of the brides in the show just bought a new dress for one of her bridesmaids, explaining that it looks like she put on weight and didn't want any bridesmaids with fatrolls on their backs. I would smack a girl who decided what size dress I wear! Does anybody have a good bridezilla story? A real life one? And are you still friends with the bridezilla?

I am not familiar with bridezilla stories hehe but I think it is still easy to keep my friends after I get married. It is very hard to be freindless especially if you happened to be a housewife. That will kill you out of boredom hehe.

You know, that's an excellent point! Wouldn't women about to walk the aisle want to make extra sure that their friends will be there after they are married? Thanks for the response!

I think that a lot of Bridezillas are nicer when they are not being filmed, and their friends are probably used to their tantrums, so they have been friends like that and been bossed around and are used used to dealing with it. Also, the girl is probably just extra stressed and annoying when she has to prepare for her perfect wedding!

I think I may have tons of bridezilla stories because I used to be a wedding planner. I had one bride who insisted on having a garden wedding in the middle of the rainy season. I warned her several times that things could turn out ugly if it rains, but she ignored my warnings. It did rain on her wedding day and it wasn't just a drizzle, it was a heavy downpour! We started 2 hours late because of the rain. My coordinators were carrying umbrellas to shield the wedding entourage. We ended up all drenched and cold and I had to find tents to rent at the very last minute because it was not just a garden ceremony but a garden reception as well. I wanted to smack the bride for being soooo stupid to insist on a garden wedding on a rainy season. But even with everything that's happened, the bridezilla still had the energy to "coordinate" her own wedding, getting one of our 2-way radios to tell me what to do every 5 minutes!

You know, I always thought wedding planner would be a great job, since the bride always wants to do the work herself anyway! But hearing that, I would have had to smack her, no doubt! Hmmm... bridezilla that thinks she can control the weather? The rain will hold off because its "her day"? This may be a new breed of supervillain! Thanks for the response!
