Would you eat squid for your love?

..anything for you... - I can do anything for my love.

Now that’s the thing I hate the most. And you may love it. In that case, you are free to replace it with any creepy thing, any thing that you hate eating…. The point is, would you do anything like that for your love? I was just wondering to what extent you would go to make him/her happy. So share the wackiest of things you did or might do for your love. Happy loving.

Hiya! Hmm, I really have no basis to give a definite response to this question. I mean I havent been in that situation before. I havent 'been in love'. So I havent had anyone to test my limits like that. As for family, they already know me so they wont expect me to do something that I really didnt want to do.^_^ Im quite adventurous when it comes to food, cause I love to eat! Im game to eat any exotic food as long as its not veggies. Im sorry but I just cant stand to eat veggies. I do eat some but those are very few. If that 'someone' loves me, he wouldnt even think of testing me like that. But if its in a life-changing situation that the decision is in my hands whether to eat the things that I dont like, Id definitely would eat it. It would also be a confirmation for the 'someone' that I do love him. But then again, I really cant definitely say unless Im in that situation right?

Yum! I love squid! I guess I would have to substitute the squid for frequently moving. I like to be in the same place for more than 6 months at a time, but I have dragged my family in pursuit of my partner, who has always made the choice of where we have lived. I remember a year after he and I got together, he told me that he was moving up north and was going even if I wasn't. I had 2 days to decide on what I was going to do, but I ended up going with him any way. Turned out to be a good move, even for the rubbish we have been through since. I was comfortable in the city we were living in and a little nervous about leaving for good and moving to a place I had never even visited before. I followed because I knew that my partner was the one for me, and that I couldn't let what we had go just because I was too afraid to try something new. 7 1/2 years on, about 10 moves later, and I am still happy that I made the choice to follow my man. The wackiest thing I have done, to avoid being left behind, is swim across a river. Now, I'm not the strongest swimmer and I did complain that it was too far before getting in the water, but I did it all the same, and swam back again too. I nearly drowned on the way back (not really, just felt like I was going to! lol), and if I had of had the energy once back on solid ground, I would have given him what for!!!

Mimpi, Squid isn't all that bad is it? Sure it tastes a bit like rubber, but i'd eat it any way. That's hardly a creepy thing for the one I love. Now there are a few things , that i might squirm on, but if required to do would do so with all the possible reactions .and Eating insects, blah. There are a lot of other things besides eating, which I would normally find impossible to do, but just might find myself doing it so in that situation Lock myself up in a room with creepy crawlies around Singing or shouting to declare my love in public Get dressed up like a woman. Now this is really getting whacky. On a serious note, love involves a bit of sacrfice and adjustment from both people.Doing things like this once in a while may sound all right for a bit of fun and does make the relationship more interesting and exciting, but really one would not want take it to an extreme as a test of love.

Mimpi As an obvious demonstration of love- Yes, that is what would make me do something whacky or wierd in the first place. As much as i would find singing with my abnormal voice to be quite embarassing and whacky, that expression on my loved one's face filled with smiles, laughter and amazement is what would make those moments very special and definitely worth it.

Get dressed up like a woman. That's wacky downright! Chewing leeches, maggots....crawlies....sounds indeed creepy.. Singing, for someone who has a defective and abnormal voice box (no offense meant) is indeed a great way to make other half feel special. Alok, I feel doing these weird things or going out of the way for someone who makes you world go round shouldn't come as a testification of his/her love. But that should be taken as an obvious demonstration of the most beautiful emotion, the feeling of being in love. Happy loving.

I would eat squid for the love of eating squid, not because somebody made me. I don't think squid is at all creepy, except maybe if it was raw. I have never eaten raw squid. I don't see how eating something nasty or doing something wacky would in any way benefit my love, so I certainly would not do something like that, nor would he ever ask me to. He is more squeamish about food than me, so anything he would eat, I would eat and a whole lot more. There are things he will not even taste. It took me to years to get him to try a brussels sprout when we were newly married. But now he loves them.

Hi Mou well i dont like squid but i have eaten it already. As far as lover is concern, i wonder if any one can force u to eat things u dont like. its not that eating some thing u hate proves that u love other. Love must be un conditional, and adoptablilty of the person must be their at both ends Take care

I would not touch anything creepy just for HIM. I dont think I would be able to eat something just to make someone happy. Ok if he tells me to stop eating something I like to show him my love I would not mind that. But please, I cannot be forced to eat anything. And till date I have not done anything whacky to prove my love either....

Why should anyone force you, mayka? What I meant is, would you do it yourself like yelling on top of your voice I LOVE YOU.... for love makes us do weird things, you never know. Happy loving.

Dear nobody can force me to do anything.....seriously....everyone has just given up on me....I meant to say that I would not force myself to eat anything just to make someone else happy....I would not show my love that way....when I love someone I make it a point to say I LOVE YOU atleast 50 times a day....and I would say that whenever I felt like saying it....irrespective of whether anyone around was hearing our conversation....

i don't think so... he wouldn't do that for me either... but again, it really depends on the situations... if i can still tolerate it, i might do it for him... but if i really can't do it, then i won't... even though it is for my loved ones... take care and have a nice day...

lol..I love squid. I would never touch a brinjal before I was married. Though my husband never insisted that I should eat it, it was his favourite and I started eating it because I didn't want to be making another dish when I made brinjal for him (which I did quite often). At first, it was just a little bit for the sake of eating...but slowly I started to like it and now I really like it. Same with tea...I would never even have a cup of tea if I was visiting someone...but now I've become a tea drinker. I don't think I did it to make him happy...it's more like I tried to have something he liked.

When I lived with my wife in the Philippines I made very effort to eat pretty much everything everyone else ate. It was not always easy to get my head around some of the foods but I did it and don't regret any of it. I wanted to feel like part of the family and embrace her life as best I could. To be honest, none of what I ate was ever overly disgusting but there were certainly mental barriers with some of it that I had to overcome. Now THAT's love right!

Erm I might love my husband but wouldn't do ANYTHING for him. E.g. I hate spiders but he doesn't mind them, if he asked me to get rid of a spider myself I wouldn't be able to do it. He loves eating fish and I hate it, I won't even cook it for him, he's quite capable of cooking it himself and he's very good at it anyway and he would not expect me to feel sick doing something for him and I wouldn't expect him to do stuff that makes him uncomfortable either :) Love may be blind but in our case it's not stupid :P

I love eating squid, but if i were in the position as yours, i dont know if I would ever do that for love, for if she loves me and knows that I dont like to eat squis then she should not force me to do what I hate doing.

I like squid! I don't get to eat it often now but I would again and again. Boyfriend does not like seafood at all but on our first Valentine's together, he ate calamari to impress me. Lol. I don't really know if these activities are as wacky but I try to set up some kind of activity to do that Boyfriend and I usually do not do on his birthdays or other special occasions. We've gone whitewater rafting, paintball shooting, horseback riding on a full moon, go karting and stuff like that. But I have to say, I enjoy them as much as he does. I guess I sit through bad movies that Boyfriend wants to watch, that's something. And I am not a "walker" and Boyfriend enjoys a lot of that so I've been walking a lot and far since we got together.

Sisi when in love we start to feel the likes and dislikes and get into those so intrinsically. Loving him or him is but loving who the person is and what he does and we consciously and sub consciously absorb those.
