When I thought that I would be moving during the first of this month, I had my internet service turned off ahead of time. My 20 year old roommate likes to sneak on my computer when I am not here. I spent three hours on Saturday, attempting to get my internet service back to the way that it was before. It was impossible. When I first signed up for Verizon, three years ago, they were offering Verizon with MSN for free with it. Being that I was more familiar with MSN at the time, it was the only one that I really ever used. But this time around, they were not offering it any longer. Instead, they are now offering Windows Live free with Verizon. When they technician attempted to download Windows Live while doing screen share, for some reason it was not compatable with Windows XP, service pack three. So now I have Verizon with MSN through Internet Explorer. I hate it with a passion. I have to use Hotmail to access my MSN e-mail and it becomes quite confusing with all these different programs that I have to go through. I said all of that to say this, I am sorry that I have not been doing much responding to your discussions lately, but I am trying to get adjusted to this new set up. By the way, I thought that I.E. had spell checker. What's Up with that? has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?

I love to laugh and its even more fun when someone laughs with you. I plan on sometime writing you a long email and telling you about me. You have shared so much of yourself here, I feel I already know you. I think your writing and spelling has always been fine.

I like to share with people, because I know that I have been plessed many times from people sharing with me. You never know what a person can learn from your story. Deep down inside we are all basically the same. There have been many times that I have been amazed to find that people have not only experienced, but overcome the very things that I am struggling with. It is very encouraging.

I love it when you make me laugh, thank you, I needed that. I am learning everything about computers through trial and error, though I do not care for learning things the hard way, at least this way, I never forget. I have a pocket dictionary that floats freely around my room, so it is difficult to find when I need it.

I am so happy that you can find time to be here inspite of all those problems. We are happy to have you here. Similar things happen to me when I have to do office work at home and so unable to respond to discussions. Also I never seen IE with a spell checker. May be IE6 has, as I never used it. I jumped from IE5 to IE7 and both do not have spell checker.

If what I have read is correct, IE does not have spell checker. Firefox does. Can you use it? It can be downloaded for free. I do not know how to do it, but did you know you can set a password that will prevent your roommate from being able to use your computer. My son used to do that when my nephews lived here.

I attempted to use Firefox before, but it was just too much for me. I ended up downloading all these different things that I did not need or know how to use. I tried it a second time and I just don't care much for it at all. I tried using the password thing with her, but sometime it would ask for the password and sometime it wouldn't. I finally got on her case about it not too long ago, so I am hoping that she will never do that again.

That's odd because my computer did an update a few weeks ago for XP and it downloaded service pack three, and as far as I know, Windows Live was working with it. I'm not 100% postive though because I don't use WL, but it was there and seemed like it was okay. I think I use it to talk to one friend, but I use it mostly on my cell. I hope that gets figured out for you.
