what toys did you play with as a child? do they still make these toys? do you still own them? i remember lincoln logs. i don't know if they still make them like they used too or if they are even called lincoln logs anymore. i do not have them still but i think my 7 year old would really like them. are there any toys you remember that aren't made anymore but you wish they were?

When I was a child my favorite toys were Cabbage Patch Kids and Strawberry Shortcake. They still sell both of these toys today, although they have been updated. They still sell lincoln logs - my kids love them!

I just started a Cabbage Patch doll collection not too long ago. I find them at various thrift stores. I've paid from $1-$20. My mom never let me have Cabbage Patch Kids when I when little, so now I'm compensating. I did have a ton of Strawberry Shortcake dolls. They were the best! I had the big strawberry shaped case too.

I remember very well indeed, I used to love playing with lego, those multicoloured bricks that you could build absolutely anything with! I would spend hours and hours making things, from houses to cars to aeroplanes to little towns, I had so much fun, I was the only child so I didnt have to share the lego with any brothers or sisters. I have still got the lego now! I am 37 but have never played with it but I couldnt bear to part with it, so many happy memories and I sure got the moneys worth! Kept me occupied and I was always given lego sets for birthday and Christmas throughout my childhood! Fond memories! I think they still make lego even today!

There are a few stores that still sell Lincoln logs, I remember having those when I was little. I also had barbies, which I still have two of the original barbies. I still have Chatty Cathy, only she's not so chatty anymore lol. And I had Little Kiddles, and the house for them.

I clearly remember being given an indian headress,a full feathered one ,so colourful and I thought it was so grown up too, then I had a three wheeler trike, red and white with a bell and a shopping bag on the bag to put my toys into.We didnt have oodles of toys, the money just wasnt there to buy them, but we made our own toys. When we got a little older we we introduced to board games, and at that time Monoply was a new game on the market, and every sunday afternoon the monoploy board was brought out for a family game,we also got the Totoploy, which was a horse racing game ,but I really cant remember a lot about thatone. But one of my favourite things was the Bunty comic, and on the very last page of the Bunty comic there was a page with a cut out doll and some cut out clothes with tags on,and it took ages to cut the doll and the clothes out, which were actively played with and then stored in a shoe box,and brought out week after week.My friend was given a tin pram one christmas, this was a present beyond her wildest dreams and we spent many happy hours wrapping an old doll up in a worn out shawl and pushing it about in the pram,if our parents had let us we would have take that pram when they took us shopping.

We must be close in age because I remember all of those. I bought a cabbage patch doll for my oldest daughter a year ago. I miss the easy bake oven, surprisingly his 8 year old son wants one. Oh, I really miss Atari. I never really got into Barbie. I also have an NES now.

Hello camomom. When I was a kid, I used to play with my little pony toys. That was my favorite toys. I only own three of them now because, the rest of them I already gave to charity. Yes, they still make my little pony toys. They are very expensive nowadays.

They are my 2 1/2 year old's favorite toys now. They are pretty expensive but they make her happy. She only has a couple but I think her 3rd birthday may have a "my little pony" theme.

OMG! I love lincoln logs and they still make them. They are a bit expensive but you can get them at Wal-mart. I loved tinker-toys and they have those too. The greatest toys were the rubics cube, etch a sketch, legos, and hot wheels. I loved them all. I found most of these and other things online, and some of the companies still make some of the old toys for the interests of collectors. Alot of the toys that we remeber are off the market, because of the technology. I went to a flea market once adn found the original cabbage patch kids.

I mostly played with the neighborhood boys so I played with GI JOE and HE-MAN toys. I personally had My Little Pony, CareBears, Moncheechee's, and little boomboxes cause I loved my music. I think they make newer lamer versions of most of those toys still today

I played with legos, playmobil, barbies, tinker toys, and my tricycle. As far as I know, all of the toys are still made. I don't own any of the things I had when I was little. They were lost in one of the many moves I made. My son has some of the same toys I did, but his were bought new.

I don't know if they still make Light Brite. I also don't know if they still make Rainbow Brite. I believe they still make My Little Pony. I have all boys. So, they wouldn't play with these toys anyway. But I know they still make GI Joe. I have also been surprised at all of the old cartoons that are still around. I don't think I will ever outgrow the classic coloring books and crayons.

i loved light bright!!! i think they do still make it but it's completely different now. they use white paper and colored pictures instead of the black paper and dot to dot pictures. i like the old way. haven't seen rainbow bright for years. my little pony is still around and are still very similar to the old ones. i liked g.i.joe also. love to color. love my crayons.
