Milk or bread....maybe deoderant? I hate running out of toilet paper....so I buy tons of it. I usually have a couple of 24 packages in my closet because I can't stand to be without it. I also like to make sure I have a box of tissues in each bedroom....my studio......and the bathroom and buy those also in big quantities. So what is the one thing you really really hate to run out of?

I sure can't stand to be without paper towel. That seem crazy because I have about a gazillion tea towels, but still, I hate to run out of it. Also, I don't like running out of Saran wrap as it's what I use to store leftovers. Nothing works the same--not waxed paper, not aluminum foil. I gotta have that Cling Wrap stuff.

That sounds like me. I have tissue boxes in each room and toilet paper is kept in bulk. Shampoo would be another thing I guess in supplies. Along that note would be water and such.

I hate to run out of coffee. The only time I am craving it is in the early morning hours. It's really simple enough though if I do run out to take my old self to McDonald's and get a cup of coffee. I agree with you about toilet paper. That could be a major disaster.

You got my answer already. Toilet paper most definitely. I'll look for napkins after that, but sometimes I have to make a trek to get some. I also hate to run out of clean utensils. I dirty up way more utensils than I do plates or glasses. I don't trust anything to get them clean but my dishwasher, so it can get annoying if the majority of the things in my dishwasher are forks and spoons. To fill it up and not waste detergent, I'll wash my dog's dishes, scissors, anything I can fit in that sucker!

Hi jillhill, I have bunch in list but to pick number one, I hate to be run out of conditioner..LOL! I can't stand with my hair when there is no conditioner maybe because of my past experience of straightening and it will brittle when I will not apply conditioner! SO, I have to have extra always or else I will be taking a shower without washing my hair! LOL!

Yes and outside of that I hate running out of patience. I have two house apes that live with me, my husband and his brother and I do have my days.

Toilet paper is my answer too. Toilet paper and paper towels are the two things I make sure I have in the house.

Toilet paper and coffee are two things I need to have on hand else I am a cranky camper. Face it, coffee filters make for lousy TP. Tea is alright, but it just doesn't do the job coffee does when you really want a cuppa. * I can live with black coffee with out cream (MochaMix) and sugar. * My packratting habits have gotten me some ribbing from the family over the years, as I've a backlog of coffees, three ground cans, and buy family packs of TP, (for big families). * I've also noted you get better prices when you buy mega-size. For example, 12 triple rolls of TP cost about $9, where the four pack can cost as much as $5. I seek out price per unit. Especially now as stores have been steadily downsizing content and maintaining/raising prices! Yet unit costs don't lie.

Money. I can't make my ends meet without money, presuming the free things provided by nature, like air, water etc. are already available. But all other things in the life need money.

I have to agree with you. I can't stand to run out of toilet paper either! It always happens right before we are leaving on a trip so we forget to replace it. We get home and walk into the bathroom to find 10 squares left on a roll. Ugh. I also hate to run out of conditioner! My hair feels like straw if I don't use it!

Toilet paper, milk, bread, rice, toothpaste, laundry soap, bleach, peanut butter, chocolate LOL, deodorant, sea salt, strawberry jam, hair spray, mouth wash, bath soap. So many things that I like having around can't list them all.. Number toilet paper though!

I would hate to run out of bathroom tissue. We have a large number of rolls stored to be prepared. The food item would be bread, as always have preserves, so can make a sandwich.

Toilet paper and diet soda are 2 things that I hate to run out of the most. I get the big 24 count packs of double rolls. We have 3 bathrooms and I always make sure they are all 3 fully stocked. If I run out of milk the kids will survive until tomorrow and bread I can make if really necessary.

I think the top of my list would be paper towels. I just hate it when I run out. Of course TP is very close to the top. One thing I really don't want to run out of is coffee. We buy coffee beans and grind our own every two to three days. I have never bought coffee that tastes as good as I can make myself. The day never goes as well if I miss my coffee. leenie

I hate to get in the shower and their not be any soap. Or shampoo, or conditioner. Just really ticks me off. If you use it all say some thing, start a shopping list or something. Dang.! . But the toilet paper it on the top of the hate to run out of list. I also don't like to run out of light bulbs. I don't like a dark house.
