Have you ever asked a question on my mylot because you obviouly don't know the answer and then when someone gives you the answer you knew that you already knew the answer??
This happened to me a while back, I asked why the children have six weeks holiday in the summer. Somone told me because it was to do with helping in the fields in the past.
I could have kicked myself as I have read so many history books, love history etc so I should have known that, but my mind just blanked me!! LOL Felt so silly.
(Get the children back in the fields and we may have less reouble on the streets)
Has this ever happened to you on here?

I did say that I didn't know the answer when i posted my discussion, or I wouldn't have posted it.It was when somone posted the answer I suddenly knew that I had known the answer, but when thinking about it in the beginning I had forgooten, hence the blank monent. Also when i posted it I was thinking about what a long holiday my three children had had although they did really well and didn't get too bored.
The answer became clear when the answer was written, and i did feel such a fool as I said in this discussion as it was something I should have knoiwn with all the history I have read etc.
Just though it may make you smile at my mistake, sorry as it didn't. It was a geninue mistake!
I'm sure other people have done the same as me and they now know its not only then , and I hope it has made a few of you smile.

Yup that has happened already with me. I remember asking about paypal in our country when I started researching it too at the same time in the internet. Well it was still good I did that because I got a more detailed instruction here in mylot.

Yeah I actually did that a few weeks ago myself. I wanted to know if anyone had had any luck with different treatments for Rosacea and ever single person who replied told me something I already knew but had never fully implemented. I felt horrible because I figured I would get new information and it only reiterated what I already knew!

It does happen mostly to me. But I do appreciate people posting their answers. Because they at least reminds me of things I already knew. lol

I do not ask many questions here, but that does not mean that little bits of information do not catch up to me. And sometimes I do have the experience of remembering "I used to know that!!" That is part of why I enjoy being here so much. I like your comment on putting the kids back in the fields. They do need productive things to help them stay out of trouble.

Hi ya Anne18
I can't say that this has really happened to me because my discussion don't really require an answer like that if you know what I mean. I recently started a discussion about viruses because I really want to know why people really start them but people are generalising on what they believe to be the answer which is fine but I really would love to know why people spread viruses!
