Hi Zelmarq! A nice quote once again from you. Prayer is our personal communication with our God, this is one way of telling Him our wants and at the same time our joy and tears. Sometimes there are prayers that don't receive an answer, maybe it's one way of God saying this will not be good to us.

Yes, its not always that what we want or ask of Him will be granted. Its according to His grace and His will for our lives. Its through prayer that we have this intimate relationship with out creator, we confess our sins through prayer and we lift up everything to Him, we are all dependent and can do nothing we can do nothinh apart from Him.

Prayer is the greatest thing i wanna do always as in Thess..."pray without ceasing..." but at the same time hardest thing to do always cos i got easily distracted away....i think we need to invite holy spirit for his perpetual guidance... Most of all PRAYER is the lifeline for a Christians...cheers!!

Prayer teaches us to wait and I do agree unto this friend for i am so sure if the person is praying then for sure although it is in any kind of religion for sure it is worth to wait.....

And when we wait we are not sure if its a yes a no or maybe, more often it still says wait but sometimes we seem to rush things in our lives and we are not willing to wait.

I have only one word to describe prayer and its...Communion. Prayer allows us to get in touch with out divine self and to the divine itself. The perfect description of prayer i found in Iyanla Vanzant's books. It says..."Prayer is a form of communion. It is a method of communication between man and the Divine. An inward exploration undertaken to cleanse and perfect consciousness. An act of reaching in to the Higher Self."
