Is water and power is free in your country

I am from India and we have to pay a huge amount for water and power supply.The government is increasing the charge in every six month.It is very difficult for middle class people to live.I think it is the duty of the government to provide it with out charging more.

Our water and power is outragious here in the United States also and it is going to increase this fall also. We can barely afford to pay for it now also.

I, too, am in the US. We all pay for our power and water here. There are programs that help needy people pay their power bills, especially in the winter time, but for the most part, we all get gouged.

I am in the US and I pay for water and power and it is very expensive here as well. In the winter, heat is VERY expensive for us in this house. Water isn't too bad but electricity and gas is really soaring. My house is heated with gas and we all know how gas prices are here.
It's really hard to make ends meet especially in winter with those big utility bills!
