So, my roomate and i were thinking about this today. Why are there no mixed gender sports? I mean, why can't the top players of the men and the top players of the women in a specific sport play eachother? I think it would be really interesting. And i dont think it would be saying that whoever wins is like the "better gender" in that sport. would other people feel that way? do you think we will ever have mixed gender sports? ...your thoughts...

I don't think it would work practically, and not for fear of groping or women being violated. Men and women, who may be equally skilled in sports, play at different levels of strength. Possibly in a sport like mixed martial arts you could see a man versus woman, within the same weight class. But never in a sport like boxing or football.

I think that's actually a good idea to see the top athletes of both sexes compete against one another. I think one problem with that is, if there is physical contact in the sport, some women might get violated when playing with the men and some men might try to grope the women. There are some sports where there are mixed gender games like beach volleyball and tennis.
