Will you be happy if someone you hate is happy?

As of now, I can't think of anyone I hate but granted for the sake of argument that I have one then perhaps I would not mind if she's happy. That is her life and I am not into minding other's business. It's in fact better that she's happy because if she's not, she might just do something more that will make me hate her even more.

I would find it difficult to hate someone so much. If i dislike a person then it's bette rto get that person out of one's mind. That way if the person living a happy or unhappy mind really does not affect me.

I don't usually hate anyone, as that's a wasted emotion which simply keeps us down at the other person's level. However, if I did, I would be glad they are happy because if I was unhappy about them, I would be the only one who would be feeling bad while they are enjoying themselves. Moreover, when we wish others well, we get good karma too which affects us positively, so it is always best to be happy for others, and accept their happiness too because we ourselves will feel better for it. :o)

There are a few people that I do not like a lot, I will not say I hate them because it is not truth, I would wish them happiness because I believe everyone like me and mine are entitled to happiness. I also believe hate is a waste of energy and that it is more negative for me than for the people I might have a problem with.

As long as it is genuine happiness I have no problem with it but if that person is happy because he/she is making MY life difficult, I wouldn't be happy about that, would I? :-) On the other hand, if they happy and they do not affect me by a mile, I am happy to go on with my life just as well. Live and let live!

Although I do not hate any body, I do dislike some people. It does not effect me one way or the other if these people are happy and doing well.If they are busy living their own lives, they are staying out of mine.Besides, I am too busy making myself happy to worry about what others are doing, especially if I dislike them to begin with.

I strongly dislike some people but, not hate. I don't spend my time thinking about them or their lives. Whether, they have a happy or not-so happy with their lives, I don't have a problem with that as long as they mind their own business and leave me in peace. :)

Hi there pehpot! We all deserve to be happy. Even people I hate or dislike deserve to be happy. I wouldn't get into the way of their happiness. For as long as their happiness is not caused by the fact that they are making my life a living hell, I will be fine with their happiness.

I dun have anybody i hate, at the moment ^_^ I guess i won't ever hate anybody because i can forgive easily.. haha =D But even so, if i really hate somebody, how they wanna or how they live their life, is not my concern because i cant control it.. IF he's lucky to be living that kind of life, what can i do?? WHy should i make myself even more miserable by comparing myself to him or wasting my time and emotions making myself even more sad over him?? lol =D

I can't think of anyone that I hate, but your question has validity. I know some people who feel so strongly about others that they let their emotions rule their lives. They become so wrapped up on the live of their enemy that they do truly hate to see them happy. My mother told me when I was growing up that "Hating someone hurts only you - the other person either doesn't know or doesn't care that you feel that way. This means that you are letting them control your life. Forgive them and move on - then you are the one in control." I've always found this to be good advice.

yes i would be littel bit jelous when someone whom i hate so much. but this was happened when i wasnt abel to understand mean upto 17-18 years. but now i am 21 year old and i always focused that by doing this and thinking about happy life of the person whom i hate i cant got nything.and its waste of time. so instead of thinking on this i now concentrate on only my work and my life. so now m feeling so happy .....and just chilling.

i hate it when someone i hate is being happy with her life, well there is someone i hate right now and she is my cousin and i hate her because of valid reasons. the meaner she gets, the evil she does, the more my aunt likes her. i hate her coz she made stories that made my other cousin almost mad at me, i hate her coz she takes some of my things without my permission, i hate her because she acts like a señorita in the house. but my life doesnt evolve with her coz am ignoring her, i dont want to talk to her as much as i can. i will forget this feeling soon.
