No More Crutches!

We got word from the doctor that Jenny can start walking with out the crutches in most situations. This is great. For those who do not know Jenny has Cerebral Palsy and her legs were twisted. They did surgery to straighten her legs which was a major task of cutting the bones and turning the legs forty degrees out. This was done in early June. She spent a month confined to a wheel chair. Then two and a half months using crutches. And now she is able to walk unaided. She is still supposed to use one crutch at school so she has extra support while carrying her back pack and in case she gets bumped into. This has been an exciting juorney for her and she says that it is weird to look down at her feet and see her feet sticking straight out instead of being turned in. Hurray for Jenny.

I am so glad for her it will really be wonderful for her to
lnot have to use crutches. my prayers go to her to be so happy she can walk without crutches and enjoy life again. all my love

Oh friend, I love Jenny's perspective on things. She is a real trooper. It is good to hear good stories now and again. Give her hugs and hoorays from me. I am glad she is going to use the crutch at school, though.
