hair dresser's

Do you go to the hair dresser's for a hair cut or do you have a hair dresser come to your house?
When children were small we used to have a hairdresr come to the house. Now my husband takes the boys to the hairdresser's every so often and also cuts there hair as well. I normally go to the hairdresser's, but on friday my friend who is a hair dresser is coming to cut my hair, so I think I may go back to having my hair cut at home again, but by a different hairdresser, not the one we had when the children were little

I go to the salon to have my hair cut, though it's been awhile. She's crazy and lately has been a bit sloppy, but she's been doing my hair for years and knows it better than anyone else. Between visits, I'll trim my own bangs. She always gets onto me for doing that but it's better than paying her every few weeks just to do the front.

Like you, when we were children we have a neighbor who would come to our house and do our hair. But now that we are older we prefer to got to the salon for our haircuts.
I don't often go to the parlor for a haircut. I usually go when I'm fed up with my current hair do or my hair has gone really long just to avoid split ends. Cutting my hair really depends on my mood. I don't cut my hair on my own if I don't want to end up in a disastrous hairdo.

I had my hair cut for the first time since December 2 weeks ago as I am trying to grow it again but had it cut in December for a wedding. I always have my hair cut at the hairdressers then I don't have any mess to clean up. I cut my son's hair myself with the hairclippers.

I used to have a hairdresser come to my house but since i moved i haven't found a hairdresser that i'm all that happy with yet, i've been to one a few times but they tend to cut my hair shorter than i want them to, so am trying out different ones! I hate having my hair cut though, not really sure why so i try to do it as seldom as i can get away with!! hehe xxx

I have a barber shop near my home, it is known as 'Laxmi Hair Cutting Saloon', the owner is my age, we are friends, his sons help him too in the job, he cuts my hair since last 5o years, yes sort of hair dresser you may say..
Dyes my hair, gives massage, trims nails, The charges are just 50 rupees, a big concession..
I don't visit unisex parlors, too costly..

I much prefer to go to a salon to get my hair cut, there is a great gentlemen's barbers within 10 minutes walk from me, they are Turk Cypriots who run it and they give me a great cut and even tend to my eyebrows and earhairs as well, it's very reasonably priced and they are open every day except Tuesdays so it is very handy and useful and I like to stick to somewhere that I am happy with.
