I know there's a lot of money to be earn from surveys that require credit card info.
I haven't completed any of those surveys but think I'm going to try out one. Instead of using a credit card, do you think it's better to use a debit card? That way they won't be able to charge me more than I have in my debit card, in case my info gets stolen.
Have you done these surveys? Do you have problems canceling free trials which cost you more than you earned?
Please advise.

You shouldn't have to pay for completing surveys. They should be paying you. Stay away from any site that charges you. And they can charge you more than your debit card has, it's called an overdraft. Which has extra fees attached to it.
In short, if the survey sites asks you for credit card information, don't bother. All you get out of it is lost money.

They don't charge you for completing surveys. You sign up for a free trial and get paid for doing that. However, if you don't remember to cancel before the trial period ends, you'll be charged. iF you do cancel, you'll be safe.

Got it now. But, there are still plenty of free suvery sites out there that don't want your credit card info to participate. So you don't have to worry about cancelling and you get to keep earning money with them.

curiousman, I'm a sort of semi-expert on this because I've done it for over a year, and you really do have to keep track of your offers and make sure you cancel within the time period. ALWAYS read the terms and conditions before you "submit" an offer. Write down as much info about the how the trial period works. I use a database program so I don't have to be writing it down on paper. If you keep all these notes it will really save you a lot of hassle and unwanted charges to your card. Signing up for paid offers IS the fastest way to make cash online, but you've got to be willing to read the fine print, take notes, and make those phone calls to cancel. It's worth it though, at least until you start running out offers to do.

The survey sites that I use and have paid me have not required any of that info. Plus they're free to join!
I have them listed on my blog with updates and those that have paid me so far.. if you wish to check them out.

There are many legit survey sites available which pay you for completing surveys. If they are asking for any kind of investments or your personal information,I doubt its a legit site. Be careful of the scam sites growing in number day by day. I've joined a few survey sites. They are good and absolutely free.
