why people of opposite gender look for chat??

friend, i have so many times that people of opposite gender are looking for chat??
the chatter over on any chatting site look for chat with opposite gender only??there are some exceptions are also there where the same gender people can chat,otherwise they will stop chatting if they are of same gender.tell me whats the reason behind this??some are changing there gender too while chatting??so,fake cases are also increase.tell me what are the step have to be taken for that overcome from these bad things

Hi...I don't chat on the net I have done in the past when it was novel but it soon wears off..and people can be anything they want to be on the net also telling you what they want...so I prefer not to get caught up in all that..if I do talk to people it's via email and with people I know for sure who they really are..why people change their gender is for their own entertainment I think and all you can do is trust your own instincts and not believe everything people tell you on the net.

I would guess that some are lonely? looking for love maybe? Now tricksters, maybe they are just evil.. (up to no good, and can even be extreme cases on the internet).

yeah i also noticed that..but on my end i chat iregardless of their sexes...i chat to gain friends not for anythign else..

Hi yadav8797,
Maybe they are looking for love? I wouldn't understand but I speak to male and female and it doesen't bother me as I have made so may friens both male and female.

i think chatting is not the word that one can use when u take two opposite genders for instance.. i think that flirting!!! heheheeh lol
and i believe that they do that to gain experience., in the opposite gender.
internet chatting has really gone wild.. some even end up choosing even their life partner. .. but i stay away from it. i chat with people whom i know personally. and whom i have seen in person. just to stay away from trouble.

I do not chat and have never chatted. But, I do know from what I have seen and heard is that when you are chatting with someone you have never seen before all you know is what they tell you. That is why they tell people to be careful.
