Anyone have a custom skin on their blog?

If so, did you do it yourself or did you download a skin from somewhere. I am really tired of the blogspot skins and want a change. Seems like a lot of work and headache no matter how you do it though.

I looked for free blog layouts, templates, skins. lol When I find one I like in design, I add it to my blog, then I change the background, colors, headers etc to fit me and what I want. lol I hope that makes sense. Bloggerbuster.com has some great tips on adding stuff to your blog (sidebars, footers, etc.) I recently found templates I like on http://www.ourblogtemplates.com/ One thing I do do before workiing on my blog, I open up the blog page and save it in mht file so when I am working on my blog if I get called away or something, I still have what I had on my blog and can add it to my new layout. I also save the source in txt file. Good Luck!

I checked out that site and a few others and mixed a few of them and made my own LOL I am so lazy. I could really code it all myself!

I have a blog but I have no idea if I have cutom skin on it or not. I do not really know what that is or what it means, to be able to tell you for sure.

Steph, Custom means if you made it, had someone make you one or found a free one online and added it to your blog instead of the ones that came with your blog.

No, I'm not clever enough to make my own - but my blog has a banner photograph at the top, and I managed to change it to my own series of photographs. That's about as good as I can get, but at least it makes it more personal - and different to everyone else's!

All you have to do really is find a template you like and change the colors and background to make it your own. I do it. I leave the credits in because it is NOT my temp, but I do change it to suit what I want.
