I don't know about anyone else but sometimes I just roam and find random discussions? Basically outside your interest and your friends list? Have you ever ran across a topic that just grabbed your attention and it called to you to respond but yet you knew if you typed what was in your mind and heart it was gunna upset the person even if you weren't being mean but saying what you felt needed to be said? Do you respond or walk away? Do you respond and then few hours later when you come back or even the next day you check in and that person is whinning saying you attacked them and thats not the way it was they just read more into it? Do you ever go read other discussions they started and find out it happens a lot? They get upset if you don't agree with what they say and then starts a discussion on how they were attacked? So is like to post or not to post. In everyday real life when you are face to face with people you don't agree with everything everyone says I just wonder if the ones that get so offended in my lot is the same in real? hops of my soap box. thanks for listen.

I would respond to a post like that, and I would hope the person didn't get to upset by what I said. And, I would hope they didn't post about me later, saying I attacked them or whatever

I guess my whole point on the matter is if you don't want an honest response then don't post it and then whine about it later. thanks for the response

OMG, did you just say a mouth full!!! I love roaming & hitting links just to see what I can find. I sometimes just go to a profile, go to Discussions Started & then jump to page 5 or 10 pulling up old discussions that nobody has touched in a year or two. The one I really love is when they ask What do you think? You respond what you think & the tell you that you are wrong. At that point I have to stop & decide is this topic worth the fight that is coming??? Sometimes I decide that my beliefs are strong enough that YES I will continue on. Other times it WTF do I care if they want to remain ignorant!!!! Then there are those times that I actually learn something!!! My guess is that YES they are as offensive in real life!!! OK, OK, I'm getting off your soap box!!!

I am a man of habit, I always respond to my notifications first from all my friends, unless of course they start a discussion about something I know absolutely nothing about, I won't respond for the sake of responding. Once I have exhausted all of my notifications I will look at the new discussions and if something grabs my attention and I feel I can contribute towards it I will. I steer clear of controversial subjects, but if something interests me then I will respond, you can learn something new on Mylot from reading discussions and other people's responses and you can broaden your knowledge on subjects that are not your normal ones you'd reply to.

I will answer if something pops up in my e-mails which i need to turn that back on again on some of my friends. Ya know the friends that ask more than what color are your eyes....lol I agree with you that you can learn stuff on mylot. I have and have been able to help so has been nice.

I try not to get into to many of the topics I know that no matter what anyone says good or bad they will find fault in it but once in awhile there be one that just grabs me....lol Really no one should take offense because if they posted the discussion were they expecting everyone that answered their discussion to agree? If so I'd like to be smokin what they are smokin to tink that. thanks for the response

I roam through all the discussions, but I only reply when I have something to say that might be of value to someone. It's a good thng I'm not here to make money.lol

It depends on what mood I am in. I also try to read as many as I can and check out which ones that I feel that I can contribute to. Sometimes I have more time then other times , so that is also a factor...lol There are usualy more then I have time to answer.....

yes i do the same as you. and i pretty much figure most people are the same in real life as they are here so, you just get a good mental pic of how they are even if you dont see their face.
