you feel is important enough to share with the New people coming in, or do you feel it is up to them to learn how to utilize this site, and then go from there? For me, there are many things I have learned, and I often will respond back in a New persons discussions as I can to try and help them to learn how to make more from this site if they can. We need to always remember, we were New once too, and if we do not help them, then they have no chance to stick around, so we end up growing the population in here for nothing as well. One of the many things I have learned, is if you want your New Discussions to get noticed, do not be afraid to make Friends. And also take time to post back to anyone who answers your discussions getting to know the people and helping them out along the way as well. Also make sure and qive Quality responses when responding. If you do not know, or feel it is not in your best interest to respond to something, skip it. There are way more discussions out there you can respond too. These are just a few. I am curious to see what othere feel on here as well. ~~TINA~~

Regardless of new/old member on this site, I respond to all the discussions which are of my interest or I have knowledge about that topic. Many times there are so many discussions from my friends which I am not comfortable to respond as I don't have much knowledge on that topic. So one thing is there for sure that we all are friends here whther anybody has requested/approved friends or not.

I have learned that people can can get REALLY nasty if you do not agree with their viewpoints on certain subjects. You can be as nice as you can be but if you don't agree with them forget it. Even if they misunderstand, don't know all the facts, when you try clarifying.. the attacks keep coming. I would advise not to engage in the text warfatre with these idiots that think their way is the only way it should be. I learned that the hard way with a particular member here.

Something people need to bear in mind is that updates happen, and when updates happen, sometimes the rules change a little bit as well. The ball belongs to myLot, so do not whine and threaten not to play, they can take their ball and go home. Mostly, I have liked the changes that I have seen. They do not tell us about every one of them, and we do have to find them for ourselves. Next thing I would say is: Do your own work, do not copy others. It makes you boring if you do, and some of us will catch you and report you. That is called plagiarism, and it is the dirty word of creative writing. Play nice, be yourself, make friends, have a positive attitude.

I learned that sometimes people want to talk about something that is serious, but they are afraid to do so. Political Correctness revealing it's ugly head again. And so they just talk about their family, that cute dog, shampoo, cleaning house, because if they talk about high taxes, or other serious stuff, they might get censored. I think that it is hard to make quality discussions from talking about how cute your dog is, or whether you love this brand. I think if we learn not to be afraid of posting, that it would help us all.
