My jalapeno pepper plant that was half dead when I transplanted it is making a good come back. It is looking much healthier and has blooms! I will take pics of it in the morning also. This plant produces a real good tasting jalapeno pepper.

We love to eat jalapeno peppers around here. I am glad your plant is pepping up. Last year I had more peppers than I knew what to do with and this year they did not do well at all. We moved to our new house in February and our first garden was a big flop! I only got a few onions and some broccoli and a few buggy tomatoes from it! I hope next years will be better. Not going to try an outside fall/winter garden, going to try some inside.

Very cool. Mine have buds, lots of them, but no flowers yet. I planted them on August 7 along with a purple hot, which does have a few flowers, but mostly buds, too.

My peppers are beginning to perk up as well, now that it is time for frost. I bought red bell peppers and jalapenos and made spicy red pepper jelly this week. The Certo box says it takes as much as a week to jell. We are eating some I did not put in jars, it is so yummy. I like just a little heat, like in this jelly.

That's so cool!! my husband and I would love to have a plant like that. What colour are the blooms? That's really neat. I've never heard of jalepino blooms before, but I guess the pepper has to be something before it turns into something edible. I can't wait to see the pictures.

My peppers got kind of taken over by the tomato plants. I think that there are too many tomato plants out there. I just planted a fall crop which consisted of cabbage, and leaf lettuce. I tried to get some broccoli but I didnt see any that was started in the stores. I didnt want to try to start any from seed because I thought it might not work.
