I use my pc i dont use laptop because i dont have one, nor am i planning to buy one. However I want to buy a flat screen monitor which is light and occupies less space. I love this pc and I have been using it from the past four years, I do have a desire to buy a laptop but then, i cannot afford for one right now, when I get good salary or i get a hike in my salary that i can think of buying a laptop. I am very much used to using my pc, i dont know how to work on the laptop and once i tried too, its quite different from the normal pc, it takes time to learn and use a laptop. For me my pc and the keyboard is very comfortable for now and i really would like to continue using the same for some time.

Laptops are for those who always travel. I prefer Desktop PC because it specs are much better for now and monitors are bigger, also the no. of hard disks, bigger keyboards, and I think for the cooling.

I prefer pc over laptop as its easier to use than laptop, in laptop keyboard are kinda compressed and space is minimized and difficult to use and if any hardware problem, its difficult to fix in lappy than pc.

I have and use both. I am a student and my husbands in the military. We do a lot of traveling. I am a graphic designer and like the screen size of a pc. I go to school online so to travel, I use the lab top. There are also times when both my husband and I need to be online so one will use the lap top and one will use the PC.

i am currently using a laptop at home. at work i use a desktop as it has better processing power. i use a laptop because i'm taking part time studies and i can bring the laptop to school. however, when i finish studying, i will change to a desktop. my first computer is also a desktop. i prefer a desktop as the screen is bigger and processing speed is better. cheers ;p

I used my PC more than my laptop. True laptop has the same performance as desktop has. And more so, its portable and easy to carry around. But I am used to my desktop more than my laptop, as I am used to my keyboard and using a mouse. I am a graphic artist, and I have been using PC as it serves most of my needs and it has its advantage over my laptop. I have installed a lot of important softwares on my PC and i could just connect my external hard drive anytime. I only used laptop when i am on travel, as its very convenience for me. When theres power problem. Or when my hubby uses my pc. Sometimes its always the other way around. But I do prefer pc over my laptop. :) Cheers!

I use a PC for surfing and mylotting but it's been pissing me off lately. My PC is really slow. I could have done more if it's a little faster. But I guess I just have to do with it. My aunt gave me a laptop a few months back but unfortunately, the LAN doesn't work. I still have to get it serviced. It's under warranty so I hope it can still be fixed.

I use both my laptop and a desktop pc at home. At work I use both too. I love switching from one machine to another it usually gets a lot of things done. The laptop of course is for the convenience of mobility. Presentations and client visits. I can also bring my work anywhere I want to. The pc of course is like a plant or tree. It stays where it is either home or office. I use the pc for more raw power doing graphics and video. Good for games too. cheers!!!

I have pc and never got a laptop... I prefer the pc's keyboard than laptop's and I can try to fix if something goes wrong or being able to change hardware, like a hard disk or something, (as told from other people :))... I also hate the "touching" mouse and when I try to do something on a laptop and I'm in a hurry (like can you help me with this or that program :P) I'm like... grrrrrrrrr :P On the other hand if someone needs a computer for a job then I think laptop is a better solution....

I use a desktop PC because i can't afford a laptop. But they're both good. I use desktop PCs for gaming and dedicated surfing and, if i had a laptop, for portable surfing and writing.

I have both pc and laptop computer.I was thinking that the laptop is nice to use so my hubby gave me as a gift last Easter. But i found it uneasy for me to use and i was not comfortable with it because it has a touch mouse and it took time for me to browse.I feel that PC is more easier and convenient to use and thats what i've been using until now.I gave my laptop to my daughter and she loves it.I think its up to the person whats comfortable for them.

I haven't owned a desktop for years. I am prepared to pay the extra to get the portability, to be able to tuck it away out of sight when I leave it in the house and for the convenience or sitting in a coffee shop instead of an office! The downside? Harder and more expensive to update and expand than a desktop, but I have had my current machine for 5 years, and it still does all that I need, inluding a lot of photo editing. Over the years I have expanded the RAM (from 512kto 4Megs) and the HD from 30gig to 150gig, and USB ports have been a godsend for extra drives, wireless modems etc. Next week my newest laptop is being delivered: 18.4 inch high definition screen, 25 mhz processor, 512 gig dedicated video RAM, dedicated GPU, 640 gig hard drive, built in HD TV tuner, HD DVD burner, full stereo surround sound with sub woofers.... I have never had a PC with specs like those! Wish it was next week this week, but they are in short supply at the distributors...

I have my own laptop..but i prefer a desktop for graphic designing, gaming, etc cuz desktop's performance is better when it comes to that, but i like a laptop too cuz 1) its portable 2) its easier to use than desktops 3) it can still run without being plugged into the wall

I use a PC in our home. I can do a lot more with it than I can with a laptop. I don't need to have my computer mobile. Only using a computer at home, it doesn't make much sense to have a laptop anyway. A laptop would just be annoying to me.
