America celebrates Thanksgiving today. Originally it was a feast to celebrate another year in the New Country when life was very hard but not so hard that you didn't have SOMETHING to give thanks for. I think that's a very...

dustinnikki First of all I am thankful to my parents who brought me into this world. My mom and dad were never together and my mom raised me and my brothers and sister alone. I didn't know my dad until about 10 years ago and I am thankful he has been in my life since...

dustinnikki I avoid going anywhere that day. I never have any money to go at that time anyway. It just always seems to work out that way. We went one year but we will never go again. It's a big time waster. After spending 3 hours in a store just to check out is not my...

dustinnikki I don't think I could part with anything in my house. We have been struggling but haven't had to get rid of anything. I think it will have to be something really bad before we had to. We are lucky and have a landlord that will allow us to pay rent late without...

dustinnikki I do agree with what you are saying. Some mothers just really don't know and a lot of times they are made to believe that they need to stay. Some of them need help or maybe a good kick in the you know what---I'm kidding.... I'm just glad that my mom was as...

dustinnikki That's just really wrong. If you can use them inside the store then they shouldn't have had a problem with you taking it inside to pay for them. I would definately tell the manager. It makes me sick that they would do that. We have been there with having next...

dustinnikki When we were kids, my mom got food stamps. Back then, they were the paper stamps and I don't remember any stores not accepting them. I think the problem is, is that now food stamps are on a card (at least the state I live in in USA). My husband and I have 2...

When your kids were getting near the age of walking, did you put them in a walker? The only kids I didn't use a walker with were my twins. We didn't have the space for it, we lived in a very small condo at the time, with...

dustinnikki I used a walker for both of my kids. Some say that a walker doesn't help and some even say that they can cause delays in a child walking. I'm not saying that anyone is wrong here but I beleive they help and I don't beleive that they cause any delays. Neither...

dustinnikki Children are definately not saviours for a relationship like that. They are kids and that's all they should be. They aren't the ones that should be doing the saving and they shouldn't be put in that position. It's the parents' job to protect them-not the other...
