My partner is more than 7000 miles away from me and I keep missing him. we're trying really hard to find a way to be together but there are just too many odds against us... immigration, my career, his business, our finances etc. etc. It can be really frustrating a lot of times, yet we do love each other.

I have been in a long distance relationship I was on one side of the country he was on the other and really it didn't work out. When I got very sick with a serious illness he was unable to be there for me, and I just keep getting the feeling of him cheating on me. But i think if you guys really work on it you could make it work until one of you will be able to move.

I guess that's one of the downside of being far away.. Although I'm fortunate that my partner has always been consistent. I'm looking forward to be with him earlier next year - hopefully! :) Thanks :)

My husband and I were in such kind of relationship before (he's in the USA while I was still in the Philippines). Our mode of communications are mostly through the internet chatting and webcams, emails and phone calls. Yes its a little sad because of the physical absence from each other but at the same time its exciting because of the thrill....I have to wake up early on Sundays because I was excited seeing him (it's the only day we can chat longer). And another exciting thing is of course when he sent money and gifts to me....lol! And yes it works, because we're married now just barely 6 months ago.
