Do you have any routine or interesting habit before leaving your house?

I see to it that I kiss my wife and kids and say goodbye to all the living things in the house including the animals and I won't fail to say a short prayer. There are more peculiar habits I observed from other people. Some of these are even superstitious. I know someone who would knock or tap on their wall for 3x allegedly for good luck. I also know some people who have the habit (or is it a superstition?) not to look back or go back to the house because they say it is bad luck. I also observe a neighbor who would reach her door chime so that it would make a sound before leaving out. Most peculiar that I observe is another neighbor who leaves the house without shoes on and he would only wear his shoes on his car!

Well I wear every thing in side my home.Lol..I do have a routine check before leaving my house.First I ask my mom,"How do I look today..?"Then I'll take my wallet,mobile and I'll go out.Then near my gate,Ill just look at the gods photo and move out and I'll wish that nothing bad happens to me.For me it works,I don't care if people say its superstitious or a habit anything else.Most of the people think that they should do this before they go out of their house.But they get tensed or worried only when they come to know that they did not do their routine prayer or their routine way of starting the day.They will be doing well till that movement,but as soon as the come to know that they for got doing it, they start doing mistakes.Its a personal thing we cannot change people on this...

well riend i have also something to share with you.Whenever i leave my house to go somewhere somehow i have this habit of going to the loo.It is really very embarrasing as well....I have tried a lot but somehow i have not been able to stop this habit of mine.Wellriends do you also have the same habit as i am having then please share with me...,

Hi manaogmemoirs!
Just like you, I always make it a point to kiss my wife and 2 children before I leaved for work. I also would say a short prayer in order to have a peaceful and safe journey. After I have done all these things, I will drive off to my work with good Christian music on my CDs to relax and prepare my mind and soul for the work ahead.

I usually try to kiss my partner goodbye whenever I leave the apartment. Other times I actually pat myself down to see if I have everything I need for the day, keys and such. My partner and old roommate used to laugh at me when I did this because it was like I was searching myself everytime I went out. lol

I have no such superstitions, but I surely check my mail the last time before I leave home. I make sure that all the mails have been checked and none left behind. Also I make sure that I wish my mum good bye, and surely tell her the time i would be home, so that she doesn't worry much. I have seen my dad say a little prayer before he leaves house. Well, its personal for everybody and differs from person to person.

Usually before me and my fiance leave the house,I always do a couple of things I always get my wallet and watch,I always put my favorite ball cap on,I always get my dip and bottle,and before we walk out the door,me and my fiance always get one of my parents phones depending on who is there,and we get my keys,and my glasses,and if my mom is there we always tell her bye,and tell her where we are going so she does no worry about us.
