When Did This Happen?

I guess I must have been out of the country or something and missed that it is already getting dark earlier in the day.
It's dark out and I'm ready for bed - but it's only 8:45 p.m.!
I guess it's no big deal if I turn in now, but then I'll likely be up before 5:00 a.m. and it will still be dark and I doubt many people will be playing on myLot at that time.
If I go to bed now, will you come out and play in the morning?

I used to be up that early all the time when my son was getting up at 5 every day. I considered myself lucky if he slept until 5:30! But now he sleeps later- until 6:30 or 7 most days.
So if you're up that early you can count me out-- unless you're still around at 7. There's no way I'm getting up early if he's letting me sleep in! Sorry

Absolutly have to! Fortunatly Winn Dixie is right by the office where my class is held, Walmart is on the way to Food Lion which is on the way to Publix. So with coolers in the trunk I can hit them boom boom boom.

Not myself.
I was up ALL night long cleaning.
The area behind my entertainment center was a MESS!
It had not been cleaned well in 6 years. HAHAHA!
I spent 5 hours cleanijng, washing wallks, and vaccuming the house.
I am about to hit the sheets for2 hours or more probably.
Be good everyone though.

My husband made the same comment earlier this week. It was beginning to get dark as he was leaving for work.
We change the clocks 1st weekend in November.

Yeah here in Minnesota it is dark around 6 right now or so.
The end of the month, it will be about 5 or so and darkness sets in.

I don't particularly care for the darkness, it makes the days so much shorter and that also means the cold is coming.

Well, I usually stay up till 4 or later most times so if I am still on sure. My husband is usually getting up at that time and I am usually getting off at that time and going to bed.

My husband isn't a morning person I still try to talk to him in the morning but his brain doesn't function unless he has had atleast 6 cups of coffee. I go to bed but always back up by 12-1 usually or if he is home early or doesn't work sooner.

MyLot is chock full of people from all around the planet. The middle of the night in one area is middle of the afternoon in another. Please also do not forget night owls that creep around MyLot in the middle of the night.

I get up about 5:45AM so I can leave the house at 7:20. I like a lot of time to wake up! I'll be here for a few minutes in the morning!

Sure I will. We were in the mountains in Colorado and after 7:00pm the sun went down it got dark and cold. Now we're in Tulsa, OK and we get a little more sunlight, not much to look at in the way of beauty but its just for 3 months.

i doubt it. because of depression, i seldom sleep earlier, therefor never get up early.

Yes I would as I would have a lot to catch up on. Plus if I'm sleepy I go to bed if not try to do this on mylot and then my survey's and try to play my game. And all of that is sometimes way to much for me. Like right now I wish I could just go to bed but I have like 30messages from mylot to look at. Have a nice day. And sleep when you want and play when you want. If you no longer work hey I would. Your friend onlydia

Yes I will get up with you i am in bed by 10 an up by 5:30 every morning iwas telling my hubby the same thing you said the other day the early darkness just creep in on us this year but thats ok this is my favorite time of the year

I don't mind the fall for the pretty colors, but I don't like that the cold will not be far behind. And I don't like the short days. I like my sunshine!

The early nights do seem to be sneaking in now, I hate it. Even through summer really it did not seem to stay light as late as I have known it too. Here in UK it is more or less dark by about 7 ish I think. It is not long now until the clocks change again either.

Yeah it does stink, I love the sunshine too, not seen much of it here this year though, and it has already turned really cold here, I hate it.

I much prefer the sunshine, so getting dark earlier (and even earlier, soon), stinks.
I don't mind a bit of a nip in the air once in a while, but I love the warm sunshine. I'm not looking forward to winter.

I have noticed for about a week or so now that it's been getting darker much earlier. It DID seem to sneak up on me this year!
One week I leave work at 7 and it's still bright as heck outside, the next Friday when I leave work at 7pm it's already past sunset!

Hi ldyjarhead,
Yes I have noticed that it is getting darker earlier now, but it don't worry me anymore because I go out in the morning for my fresh air and the I do whatever I had to do round the house and the usual cooking, then I'm Mylot for the rest of the day to very early in the morning, so I will meet you in the morning, good night.

Well I do not see why I would not be here tomorrow! ( unless for some reason I have server problems again) But I will not be here at 5:00 AM. If I am here at 5:00AM I am having a really bad nights sleep!

I been up sense a little after 7, it still is not what I can call light out! I hate all this gloomy weather here in Ohio!

I will be out to play with you. Since I have been working the graveyard shift my sleeping schedule is all messed up. I get off work on Saturday morning at 7:00 in the morning so I am sleepy I take a nap and get up about 11:30 or 12:00. I am up the rest of the day so around 9:00 pm I am sleepy and ready for bed. Then I am up again around 4-5 o'clock in the morning. That is my weekend schedule.
