What are the things that you want to do in your life? Here's my list: 1. I want to be a serious painter/artist and have my own exhibit 2. I want to learn how to dance by means of a formal lesson 3. I want to enhance my talent in cooking and hopefully be able to put up my own restaurant someday 4. I want to create/implement my very own game 5. I want to have a master's degree in computer science 6. I want to learn how to play the guitar, at least LEARN. LOL 7. I want to enhance my skill in playing the piano **I'll be updating this in the near future. I believe that everyday is a continuous learning process, so everyday we should strive to be better! :) How about you? I want to know what you want to do in your life as well!

Well just like you, I do have a lot of dreams and aspirations in life not only for myself but also for my loved ones, both short-term and long-term. And here's my to-do list: 1. I want to get my compositions of short romance novels and poems published. 2. I want to learn how to bake, specially cakes, which eventually could be one of my businesses. 3. I want to have a lawful business which my spouse and I will personally manage. 4. I want to be debt-free in the soonest possible time. 5. I want to have savings for the education of our only child and daughter. 6. I want to own at least 5 hectares of land which we're going to use for plantation of various fruit-bearing trees and vegetables. 7. I want to have our own lot where our house will be built on. 8. I want to be able to spend long quality time with my parents and siblings together with my own family (spouse and daughter) treating them to a 3-day vacation, at the very least. All expenses are to be paid by me. 9. I want to be able to put up a business which will help out-of-school youths and less fortunate people finish their studies and acquire wealth for themselves and some which they will share with others. 10. I want to have savings for our tender age and for our grandchildren's welfare in the future. I guess I could go on and on with this to-do list (or more appropriately a wish list) but this will have to do for now. I'm positive that these wishes will all befall on me and my family.

Hi wildfruit, I usually do some listing before especially during new year but now i dont do it anymore for i havent done anything on my list. It is so frustrating for me, now i make sure to do the things i like first, no need to list them anymore for i did it already. Maybe i well list the the thing that i have done already, it is more beneficial to me.

You actually have a good point :) I guess it all depends on how this method is helping you in doing the things you want to do in life.. :)

There are many things that I want to do. I have to be realistic also. There are some things that I guess I will never do. That saddens me. I want to successfully market and sell my curriculums on building self-esteem. I think the way we feel about ourselves determines our levels of motivation, performance, and acceptance. It gives us the ability to love and be loved. I want to continue to be the best friend, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and in-law I can be. I would like to be able to drive a car. Everyone tells me now that I am too old to learn. Oh, well. I want to be an excellent writer.

That actually makes me feel better. I am 28 and have spent exactly 3 hours driving my whole life. My parents didn't force me to learn when I was 16-17 and now I'm terrified to learn. I'm pretty good out in the country with no one else around but traffic scares me silly. Almost to the point of being a phobia... shallow breathing, quickened pulse, sweaty palms, the works. But it's always nice to know you aren't alone in things when it seems like you are. I only know one other person my age who never learned.

In no particular order.... 1. Finish a book. I have five ideas started but have lost momentum on and now they sit stagnant on my computer, just waiting for me to come back. 2. Publish my book project. I started my own independent publishing company which I mostly intend to use for my own work but also a few friends and through that I am trying to put together a "Chicken Soup" style book of sorority sisterhood stories. 3. Meet my Mr. Perfect. As the saying goes, "No one is perfect until you fall in love with them." 4. Visit Europe. Specifically Ireland and Greece. 5. Open a book store. 6. Be comfortable. Rich is not necessary, just comfortable enough that I don't have to wonder from one week to the next where the money went.... 7. Get my Master's degree. I think that's it for the moment. I'm sure there are more but these are the big ones.
