That is what I am doing now these days. Have your ever found a Job online? I just put in a few applications online. I think that is better to do so you don't have to waste gas running back and forth to place don't you think? I think it is a good thing!

I've tried this before and it really worked. Not only do I save time, I also save on gas! I go to Jobstreet all the time. Jobsdb is a good resource as well. But both websites don't have the good job openings. Sometimes they do, but it's really best to apply on the company website. Applying online will make the application process a lot easier and faster.

If I lose my job, I will try to find a job online. As in the past finding a job online wasn't popular yet. But nowadays it's different. It's much more convenient and I don't have to mail my resume and my certificates to apply for a job. I love China

I did apply on monster.com and timesjobs.co but never got any offer letters. I am not sure iof they are good sites. But they do advetise a lot. I still hae to figure out if there is a flaw in my resume or its the flaw in the job site.

I have worked for the same company for thirteen years, so I haven't had the need to apply for any jobs. Though it is a very good idea to apply on line for the reason you mentioned as well most companies only accept applications this way.

When you apply for jobs online, where you are asked to email a resume, make sure you also include a cover letter - even if they don't ask for one. Over 90% of the applicants do NOT include one, and it will make you stand out. Also, make sure your cover is not too long...they don't want to read a book. I usually make mine about 3 (or 4) short paragraphs.

It is okay to put your resume online, but you have to be careful where you do this. I have gotten some legitimate offers from having my resume posted on monster.com. On careerbuilder.com, though, there are several of the offers I don't really consider legitimate. They are things like typing at home jobs where you pay them and they give you a list of places to apply. It is hard to be sure which ones of those are worth paying for.

Yes I do. I find it a lot more economical with the price we are paying for gas now here in Ontario, Canada. I have received quite a few responses from doing so. I wish you all the best of luck in securing a job that you will enjoy doing, that will make working so much easier for you.

I apply online. I have several job sites where you can apply to multiple jobs at once. And I go to various Company Websites of places that I am interested in, and most of them prefer that you email your resume to them. It is much easier all the way around. :)

I think that there should be more jobs that offer to work from home with the cost of gas and everything rising but the economy the way it is. I would love to work from home and I wouldnt' care if they had heath benefits b/c I would be saving on gas and clothes so they should think about doing more like it.

My thoughts exactly. Why waste gas if the company you are applying for is taking apps online. I have done this a few times to no avail. But then again I am an engineer and they usually expect you to show up first to apply. Makes a big difference. Hope things go well with your job search.

hi marciascott! yup my boyfriend and i have applied thru online but none of the jobs offered in countries we would like to work in calls us or sends us a message. sigh. it is really hard to find a job abroad especially for nurses now a days. for sure, there are thousands of citizens coming from different countries sends their resumes online and these employers are deinitely having a hard time choosing for applicants who they think fits well for the jobs they try to offer. hopefully, they will give time to contact us just so we can find work abroad. happy posting and happy mylotting!

I do apply for jobs online before however without any feedback or email from the HR managers. In my opinion,it depends on the countries you're in.If in my country,I would like to say it's not easy to find a job online coz nowadays in my country the personal relationship will a strong power when apply the jobs. That's to say even the HR manager find your CV online and you're 100% fitting their requirement, you will loss the position finally if someone run out with the say personal relationship~`Good luck marciascott~
