I need some suggestions for birthday party games. I am not talking about little kids here, though. My sister and my other sister's husband are turning 60. We are celebrating both birthdays this weekend at Thanksgiving (Canadian). I was asked to come up with some games. These would be for adults, but not X rated my children will be there. Especially pertaining to the number 60. I know that's asking a lot but I just don't have a clue.
Anyone have any ideas?

We had a Birthday party for my mom this summer (she was 68) and we played the newly wed game with all of the couples there. We ask questions like what was he/she wearing on the first date, what is his/her favorite color, food, song etc. It was fun for the older ones to get to tell their stories and the kids to hear them.
We also got a pinata and thy had a blast with that.
Also you can have a lot of fun with the Bingo game. Make up your own cards with funny sayings they had or middle names they didn't know about or whatever you can come up with. This makes for some fun with kids and adults.
Charades is hilarious too!
Have fun and I hope these ideas gets your brainstorming to going anyway!

I thought of charades so I looked up the year 1948 and saw the names of movies and television shows. I didn't know most of them; how can I expect any of my nieces and nephews to.
What I have come up with so far is a bunch of celebrities born in 1948. We can play Headbanz where you put the person's name on your forehead, people talk to you and you have to guess who you are. That's all I've got so far.
Thanks for your ideas.

That sounds like fun. It is hard to find something to entertain both ages!

I guess playing musical chairs would not be X rated. They say that twice we become children so I don't see anything wrong playing kids games.

That's an idea. However, my sister's house doesn't have a lot of room and I don't know how many people are going to be there. I have emailed her and asked her for a number but at this point I don't know. Her living room is pretty small though.

Hi patgalca. Hope I'm not too late on this one. I can provide links to 4 adulty party websites, not the x-rated kind, of course. They have some really great ideas on them. So, since you asked for help, here they are:

I don't know... see who can come up with the most words from "sixty" in 60 seconds?
six, sty, sit, its, it, is, tis, tix...
