So if you wanted a child would you adopt if you could not a a child? Or you would you just leave it be?

I'm due in December and I'm thinking that after I have my 1st baby it will be my last. I want to adopt. In the future when I'm financially stable and if I'm still in a commited relationship I want to adopt. Every child deserves a chance at having a normal family!

Adoption would definately be an option. I would also look into hiring a surrogate mother also.

Not only was it an option, but I did it. My baby is an older teen now.

i would totally adopt if i couldn't have a child! i might even adopt even if i'm able to have kids. there are so many orphans in this world that need a good home and a new beginning. too bad the adoption process is long, expensive and discriminatory.

I have been married 16 years almost and no children but we have so many nieces and newphews we haven't really missed not having kids because they are always here or staying the weekend or a week or month even when school is out..But i have thought of adoption a child of my own to teach what i have been taught from my mother and granmother to carry it on..but with the rules and regulations and all the stuff you have to go though there is no hope for us we also do not make enough for them. You have to be able to support them completely without any help from anyone so that leaves us out my husband is a carpenter and he doesn't work much in the winter or if it rains and so on but our bills are always paid. and we couldn't afford a surrogate mother or the hospital bills that would cost. so it is easier to not think about it and enjoy what is right here and give them all the love i can and teach them all that i can...and hope they in turn teach there children..God Bless.

I don't have any children and I haven't adopted either. However, if I come across an adoptable child I would seriously consider it here in Nicaragua. I don't think I want a newborn though. I don't have the energy for that anymore.

If you have a loving heart that would welcome a child into your home, then by all means adopt. There are so many children out there needing families. Make sure you consider the age factor before seeking out a child. If you don't want to change diapers and stay up in the night, then you need to consider a little older child than a baby. You'll never regret playing such a big part in a child's life.

If I could not have had my own children I would have diffently concered adoption. In fact in a couble of years when I own my own house I am plaining on doing foster care. I believe that all children need a secong chance either they are in foster care because of a abuse or if they were unrulely. I was in foster care and i am still very much in volved with my foater family and I want to give to some else what was given to me.

Biologically, I can have children. But it's a conscious decision not to have children of my own. I want to be a father, and for that, I intend to adopt a girl child soon.

I would definitely adopt. I can't have any more children and have been thinking about adopting for a while. I would adopt an older child though, to give the people who can't have any children at all a chance at having a newborn baby or young baby. I've had babies and loved the experience, but there are so many older children who need love and a home too...so I would choose an older child.
