Saving for a Rainy Day

I usually stay on the internet. If I have to switch off the computer because of thunderstorms I prefer reading a good book or play a game with my son like ludo.

I will switch off the electrical appliances and sit outside n hear songs thr' mobile n enjoy the rain

Right this minutes the rain is pounding my house in torrets and I love it.. I love when it rains and the sounds of it hitting the house and pinging off the tin roof..it makes me want to snuggle down in bed and just relax and listen...which is where I am headed in a few.. I love a rainy cloudy day..

I don't mind the rain every once in a while but I usually feel a little better with the sun shining brightly. I think I have a better mood all the way around on a bright day. If it is dreary and dim I usually stay in and either watch television or of course just get on line and do some fun stuff here. I don't know what I would do without this computer. I guess I would also do some cleaning indoors but I would do that on any day rain or shine.

I dont mind going out on rainy days,there are fewer people about then! but I would probably (if I had to stay indoors) watch some of my favourite shows on you tube,whilst making some of my jewellery to sell. It is very sunny here,would you like me to send it your way?

I usually just get on the computer. Or sometime I might put a puzzle together. If it's really cold and rainy, I like to bake. Other times I just watch TV with my favorite blanket. I actually like the rainy days. Even tho, my body doesn't seem to like the dampness lol.

I don't really save anything to do on a rainy day. I'll usually just clean house or wash clothes. I watch television and read a book too. Sometimes I watch movies. Rainy days make me so sleepy so I like to just sit down and read or watch tv because it's just nice to be able to relax for a little bit.

It is raining over here at the moment and it's coming down with a little breeze so I'm turning on the heat to feel a little warm. Looks like it'll be on and off so there won't be much to do but to hang out inside. Feels like a dreadful monday though for a wednesday and you don't want to catch a cold going outside but instead of being a sourpuss, talking a walk to the nearest 7/11 for some snacks is fine. With a hooded sweater and/or umbrella, something to keep the windy city from blowing me away. Then I'll most likely have a cup of tea with something to read here on MyLot to keep myself occupied. :P

I have no idea what's the weather like in your country unless I watched some related programs about the world weather. But here in China,it's getting cold and rains a little bit more. However,I never prepare a umbrella with me when I go out and it's a really dark day.

Hi. I love rainy days, but only if they occur when I don't have to work. Even on the weekends is ok as long as it's not all day. When my 3 children were small, I would let them get in the bed with me and watch tv until they took an always needed nap. I would usually be reading, (especially, if they were watching something that I wasn't interested in). I,like most people love to read on rainy days, but with me, not if it is lightening and thundering. I would make some type of comfort food for dinner, like chili, beef stew, or roast and potatoes. After a good meal, back to tv, a good book, and an old movie. But mostly, snuggling under the blankets and napping. Nowadays,all this is done with the grandchildren who have spent the night.

I love rainy days (especially when accompanied by thunder and lightening). Strange, but true. I love curling up with a blanket and watching it rain. I usually drink tea and read. Now, this is assuming I don't have to work, etc. To me, rain is calming and always puts me in a good mood! Doesn't affect anyone else in my family this way, so not sure why, but there it is! I like rainy days, things seem to move a little slower on those kind of days, and I can sit back and take it easy, I don't have to do anything outside, get a break from the heat if its during the summertime, and I just stay in the house, either read or watch a movie, or I spend time on the internet.

I read and crochet or I finally clean up the house that is if I can't get on comp. that is what I do when it rain's. Plus it is a good time for nap. I sleep great when it rains. Your friend onlydia

Hi, Ldyjarhead! We only have two seasons here in the Philippines. The rainy and the sunny season. And it is rainy here now, just like your season. You're right by saying that we love the sun better than rain, but we really don't have to complain because we need both of them. I feel lazy during the rainy days, I love to just sleep and curl up all day. But I can't do that because I have to go to work everyday. But on weekends, I also have something we can do inside the house that my children also enjoy. I bought this marble set toys with matting and holes in it just a couple of days ago. That's what we do together. It also helped me keep my children inside the house and away from playing the cold rain. Hahaha, the family that plays together, stay together! Happy posting!

Yesterday was like that here in Minnesota. A light rain all day long. I sat watching my new TV and also myLotting. I have no projects going on other than life itself. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

It is a rainy day here in Indiana too. I don't mind the clouds though. I am just in one of those moods today. I work seven days a week, on and offline. I always have stuff to do regardless of the weather.

I don't have anythings saved for a rainy day, I guess I just hang out at the house and nap. When the sun does come back out I begin the ever daunting task of stopping in mud puddled.

here id get them all done in florida. to many rainy days here. thats why everything always smells like mildew. dont think i'll ever get it out of my nose i love ohio rains. they come periodicly and are so calm and nice.

I love rainy days, I like curling up on the sofa looking at TV, I even like to turn things off in the house so that is very silent and just listen to the rain. It is a damp rainy day here too. I am on the computer and listening to the TV. I have to go to bed soon because I have to go to work tonight. So the rain will be good, it will help me to sleep good the rest of the day.
