Went to dinner with the family last night. Had a good time. Probably one of the last before our baby comes. He is due as many of you know in December right before Christmas. We discovered the manager of the restaurant we frequent is also pregnant. She is looking quite large herself. So I jokingly said, "I bet I pop before you" She asked when I was due I said December. She said yep I'm not due until March. We smiled and each went on our way. My hubby looked shocked. She's not even 1/2 way through her pregnancy. My hubby says "she is as big as me(My middle is taking over). Poor thing he said she must have twins in there. That can be hard on a person physically."
Have you ever been surprised by a person when they told you there due date? Did you think it was sooner or later than they told you by looking?

As you know I have twins, and I got that a lot. I went in for a job interview when I was about 3 months pregnant, and didn't know it was twins. The interviewer looked at me and said "Are you sure you're not more like 5 months along?"
My neighbor is pregnant right now, and due this month. She began showing very early. She was only a few weeks along and she had to buy maternity clothes already. I teased her saying she's probably having twins. Luckily it's only one, this is her 5th child.

People who have twins are my heroes. From a physical standpoint, with my back That would be so hard. Besides if they had told me twins, I might have fainted

Hubby and I just laughed when they told us it was twins. I'd already had a hunch and had been wondering "What if..." so it didn't come as a huge surprise to me.

I have been embarassed a few times when it comes to situations like that. It can be surprisin how big some people get (their bellies)while others stay so small they look like they swallowed a soft ball. But all we can do is mumble sorry and hope our faces don't match match Aunt Lootie's red hat..My niece had her baby in February and she with her first child she was seven month and didn't show unless the baby turned a certain way with her second one she was a litte more rounder but the baby was a pound bigger.

It has happened to me the other way round after my first delivery I had put on so much flab around my tummy that people asked me when was the due date. I have now lost most of it especially the tummy on, I hope your post pregnancy period goes fine. Wish you a healthy baby.

I have run into this a couple of times too. I worked with a lady and she was due about two months before me. I wore my regular clothes all the way up to 7 months of pregnancy. She always had a belly and I didn't until the end. She lost most of her baby fat though but I blew up and am still trying to get rid of it.
