The longest time I've abroad is one year, I was studying in Australia for my final year in University. As for work, I have been in Taiwan for about 3 weeks only.

The longest time I've spent away from home was 6 weeks. I was on a study tour in Taiwan. I was only 14 then, and I was terribly homesick and just wanted to go home. Looking back, I wish I had made the most of my time (and money) there, but there's no point living in the past LOL! I'd rather live in the present and travel, travel travel LOL!

The longest time I was abroad was about a week in two cases. I went to India and Japan, both for conferences. I learned a lot.

My longest trip was around the world and that lasted from February 1993 until April 1994. I flew to the USA on a one way ticket on one airline then traveled on another multi stop ticket on a different airline. I had a working holiday visa for Australia and I did casual work to support my travel funds. I worked as a children's nanny, in factory packing paper into hand bags and did charity work. My second longest trip lasted a few months and that was a holiday in New Zealand and the islands of the South Pacific.

Longest time..? A month I guess? I can't think of any trip longer than a month at the moment. It was when I was around elementry school age, and my parents were dragging me around. ; ) It was almost winter there, but they had a big mall. ; ) So, I guess it counts as a holiday trip even though we were nowhere near a holiday? ; )

It has been 4 years I live in Melbourne, Australia. My purpose is to study and work but after a while I've finally found my husband, my soulmate in here and we decided to settle down in here. Well, now here I'am got stucked in Melbourne but it'is such an exciting and friendly place to live though it's really quiet.

Once we were on vacation in Europe for 3 weeks. We were exhausted by the end, so I think 2 weeks is probably my limit.

I stayed in Toronto for over a year once when I was studying there. I usually fly home twice a year. Once during Summer and another time again for the Holidays. But that year, I had work for summer which I was enjoying and I wasn't able to get a flight home because I had an exam to take a few days before Christmas. I was really bummed, of course, because it was a bleak and lonely Christmas. :(

Three years....I'm an Army brat and we got stationed in Germany. Kinda sucked being away from home but it was a great experience. And, even though I was young I still remember a lot of it, so it was kinda worth it.

I've been away from my homeland for 3 months. I've lived and worked abroad more than once but I've never been away for more than 3 months at a time. I love travelling but I probably wouldn't want to go away for one year or more, a couple of months is enough for me.

3 months are maximum to me. I love traveling, but to live far away my homeland too long is something difficult.
