How We Spent Our 10th Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us! We made it 10 years. Many people never thought our marriage would last this long! We both had the day off from work. Of course there was housework to be done and yard work too. I did the housework and hubby did the yard. I also spent some time relaxing and reading a book while hubby did the yard work.
Dinner was simple. Hubby went to a local eatery for a fisherman's platter for both of us and brought it home. We dined out of the take-out box and had a nice cup of coffee afterwards. For dessert we had an ice cream cone.
Now we are both on the computer. I am here at MyLot and he is playing Battlefield. But, we are next to one another. Later on we will head to the living room to watch something on the boobtube and then head to bed early. I have to work this weekend and need to get up waaaaay too early.
Tomorrow night we are going out for dinner. Hubby will be turning 58 on Sunday. This will be a combo celebratory dinner. Tenth anniversary/birthday for a 58-year old. Our niece's birthday party is Sunday and it will be a costume party. My grandson and I will be dressing in costume. We are having a hard time convincing my hubby that he too should don a costume.

congratulations wishing you many many many years more. i will be getting married hopefully and god willing in dec. so i tooo think and hope we last past 3 years lol. but you guys seem to have it down packed, so congrats on that. costume party that sounds great. hope you had a wonderful anniversary.

Grats and Happy Anniversary.
My wife and I have been married 30 years now.
We have yet to really celebrate any anniversary of ours.
We never celebrate much at all really other than typical holidays.
To us it is just another day really.
We have ate out etc a couple times for our anniversary.
But like I said that was just another day.
We try to get away ever so ofyten and if it falls on our anniversary then I guewss thats celebrating. Never plans.

Busy weekend with all this happening.
Have a grand time and Happy b-day to hubby as well.

Congrats on being together for 30 years! That is wonderful GB. We usually go away for the weekend. But, we have our grandson with us and have to make plans around him. He is with his Mom this weekend though. Even so, I have to work the weekend so that leaves us no time for wandering off too far.

Congrats on your anniversary...My husband's birthday is Sunday also...Our anniversary will be Dec. 5th and it will be 25 years for us....Sounds like you had a very nice day...

Happy anniversary. I think the ten year mark is big. Many couples dont make it that far. My husband and I started dated 6 years ago this halloween. But have only been married four and a half years. COngratulations and a happy early birhtday to your husband. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Happy 10th to you and your hubby. It sounds like a nice day was had by both of you but so sorry you have to get to work early tomorrow. I hope you can talk your husband into dressing in costume for the party like you and the grandson. Happy birthday to your hubby on sunday.

tomorrow too. Today is my birthday and boyfriend is taking
me out to dinner tomorrow to celebrate since he had to
work today. I think you should convince Hubby to dress up
too for the costume party. It sounds like it will be lots
