i watched Titanic amost five times i think.. the boat, the actors, and the the love story.. it was so good. it was, i mean, really romantic.. the actors did a good job. and the story, it was perfect. as to me, it was the most romantic film ever made. i liked the setting, the story of both parties, where love conquers all and love know no bounds.. i remember both actors wanting to see each other, risking their lives just to be with each other. and till the end, there is a sacrifice for the love they had. it was teary and sad story at the end. but there are a lot of values during the middle and the climax.. for me, it is the most romantic film,.. how about you?

hi jing...titanic does have a good romantic story. i also like "you've got mail" with tom hanks and meg ryan. it starts out they chat online. in real life they meet and despise each other, but online they have heartwarming conversations as strangers. then he asks if they could MEET. hehe. she waits at the appointed spot. he sees her and recognizes her as the one he despises. (he puts her out of business and she hates him)he almost stands her up but then goes in and messes with her. she begs him to leave and eventually he does. she didn't know he was the one she waited for so she leaves feeling stood up. at first he won't email her. but then he gives in and consoles her online, then plays with her and meets with her. still she doesn't know it's him. he messes with her cleverly. they end up being very good friends. then online he asks to meet again. when they do she puts the online guy together with the man who'd become her good friend. and she is deeply in love with him.

titanic was a great film because it really remade the environment and settings extremely well. but the romance plot was something that has been told in the past several times. the same old formula; poor boy meets rich girl; both of them fall in love with each other; the girl doesn't care the boy is poor; the girl is also engaged or is forced by the family to marry someone else and so on, and in the end the girl elopes and they live happily ever after or there is a sad ending like in titanic. rebellious behavior in romance has been the theme in many english movies and novels. moreover, the story seems a bit too familiar to me because every 8 out of 10 indian movies have the exact story going about between the boy and the girl.

I think titanic was one of the best romantic films but probally not the best one. I really dont know what the best romantic film was since im not a fan of romantic movies. But Titanic is better then most of them since it has something for everyone except for scifi fans lol.

Honestly, I did not really like the movie Titanic. I didn't think it was all that romantic either. There are a lot of other better movies I like and that are more romantic. I prefer the older classics myself, but there are many good modern movies that are romantic. I liked You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, and The Wedding Date, just to name a few. I was pretty much bored with Titanic.

It definitely one undying romantic film which I will not get tired of watching all over again. I also like the Leo and Kate love team, especially now that they are doing another movie together. :)

I thoroughly enjoyed TITANIC and I remember going to see it 9 times in the theater when it first came out. I think it could definitely be considered one of the best romantic movies ever made. But, it's not like some romance movies. TITANIC, like other movies of it's type, tells a story of love engulfed in tragic circumstances. And it's love stories of this nature that sometimes have the greatest impact. But there is another element of TITANIC that makes it so good, one that I haven't seen anyone else here mention yet: the soundtrack. When I first saw TITANIC I became borderline obsessed with it. I bought the soundtrack and was so moved by the music that it was the only music I listened to for 2 months straight, everyday. It still moves me even to this day. It is so haunting and moving. I believe it accounts for at least 50% of what makes TITANIC so good.

Hi, Titanic is a movie that ranks up with Gone With the Wind for me. Both movies not only have love story, but also action, history, drama, family. I feel the same as I did the first time I watched both of these movies every time I watch them. I've even caught my husband trying to sneak past them in the guide but I always catch him. I love seeing love for what it is supposed to be and that is what Titanic is to me. What love is supposed to be.

gone with the wind is also a high top rating love story.. and both love stories are really ranking good. i wonder why. maybe because it touches our hearts. and both movies were i guess in the guineess.. dont know exactly.. but both are really good. hopefully i could watch gone with the wind too..
