Oops.. I have more than 100 unresolved discussions..

Hi everyone. I don't give best response so frequently. Now when I checked that, I came to know that I have more than 100 unresovled discussions. I just don't have any idea of how to choose the best response. If I give best response to someone, will they earn something?? If so I will mark the best response for everything. Otherwise I have decided to leave all those and start giving the best response for my future discussions regularly. Do they earn for that???

I also have no idea as to whether it will be bring any improvement earning wise. But I would really suggest you to mark best responses due to two reasons 1. They have taken all the pains to reply for your discussion 2. It will defintely be a moral boost for them. I'm sure it's not going to take much of yout time,the output quality of people out there will surely improve :) Take care!! Cheers

Ya you are right. I do accept that. Definitely it will take much of my time. On an average, we will have 15 to 20 response per discussion. I have to read all the discussion before selecting the best one. That will definitely take time. We do have 7 hours power cut daily. So I can spend only little time online. Thats the reason for this pending. Lol. I will try to give as far as possible. Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.

I don't know that it was a mandatory to select the best response. Any way I had only five discussions that are started and I don't need to pay more attention on that. Do we have to select the best response. Does it show effect onl our earnings.

If you are just starting then have the habit of giving best response. I don't think that it will affect the earning. But its a best practice to give best response. They will just feel encouraged and it will help them to increase the quality of their posts. I never realized that I had so many without choosing that. Lol.

I ended up with almost two years worth of unresolved discussions a while back so I can relate totally to what you are sharing here vidhyavini! lol. It took me forever to catch up on them all and now I seem to have let things build up yet again. Thankfully I don't have 100 to go through but it is still 4 or 5 pages worth! It is not easy to choose a best response either; especially if there are many replies to go through but I just try to find one that stands out for any reason. And no, I am not aware of anyone earning anything for being chosen. The payment is purely the joy of being selected as the best!

Yup. I have started to resolve discussions having less than 10 responses. It will be in a single page and that will be easy to resolve. Lol. Now I have 8 pages more. Lol. I will do it 5 per day. Hehe.

I do not think that you marking the best response will help earn more to the respondent. His earnings are not going to increase by receiving a best response. But I would advice you to please resolve your 'unresolved discussions' by marking the best response. Keeping them unresolved will not be any help to you or the ones who have responded to your discussions. What you can do is - resolve the discussions in parts say 3-4 discussions in a day and as and when you find time.

I have nearly four pages of unresolved discussion. I dont think giving a BR in any way increases our earnings. But someone on mylot will be happy for being marked a BR. So I think you should mark the BR for the person whose response you liked best and make that person happy. Even if he/she does not get an extra cent for that it will surely bring a smile on his/her face.

OMG, it may need much time to resolved it. You must work little harder to finish all the unresolved discussion. I don't think so give BR will give you some earning. As I know giving BR is like a duty to show the feed back to the person who give you response. Keep post Happy myLotting...

I have a lot of unresolved issues too and I find it tiring to go back to them but last night I did resolved some and was shocked to see that the discussions I marked a best response has resurfaced and some made a response on those even though the discussion was a month old, so maybe it helps not only to the person or user that we mark the best but also to us.

When we give BR, the person will sometimes thank for giving BR. In that case, our discussion will come in the recent and the friends started page. Some of them who have missed to see the discussion may respond to that. This will happen only if some activity takes place. For marking best response, the discussion won't be coming first in the recent list and all. Someone must have responded and it again started. Lol.

I guess I have no idea but then I make sure when I read a question I rate them and above all like our other friend mentiones they take pains in writing. Regards

Yup. Sure. This power cut problem made me lazy. Whenever I come online, I just post some response and then the power goes. Lol. I never get time to resolve the discussions. May be I should do atleast one every time I log in. Hehe.
