I have often seen people laughing at other people's discomfiture. If a man was to slip on a bannana peel and fall down, some people will stand and laugh instead of runnng to help him get up. Why do people enjoy such situations?

Maybe society affect human-being,it make their heart cold, they just only care of themselevs,it is bad!I ever have seen this situation so many times,no one give people who are in trouble a hand,no word, just look,it is so sad, hoping people will give some help to people who need help.

Hi mercury,
Thats human nature. We like to c others in trouble while we dont like getting into trouble.
Some one very rightly said that man does all the sin but dont want to bear its outcome while, man dont do the virtues but they want to get all the rewards.
Cheers,
Tutul

Unfortunately it is just the way a lot of people are and that includes me, I am terrible for laughing myself. I mean there are even programmes on tv that cover all this type of thing and it is put on for entertainment purposes so I guess it is just something that is found to be funny.
