I wonder whether my newly added friends have done their notify on or not. I regularly respond to my friends and have not started the discussions from many days, but just day before y'day i started 2 of them and i am surprised to see that i didnt get any responses even from muy friends, is it that they dont care tp respond, or that they dont come to know as they have not turned the notify on and not getting the discussions in their mail boxes...??? It makes me sad 
that after so many days i write something and no responses...

Yes and No. For some friends it is on. I get email notifications about my friends who have made some great discussions and have notify on for them so that I can get the email about their discussion and I an respond to it. But I find that most people on my friends list are not so active and only some make discussions. I got some new friends who are making some nice discussions and this discussion of yours reminds to have notify on for them.

I turn on for everyone...maybe sometimes some of the discussions i don't like at all, so i dont reply, but most of them i reply honestly, and even after that they don't reply, some of them are online also at present, as i am getting the alerts abt their new discussions...this declines ur mood to respond them in future..isn't it....do u also feel like that?

Exactly. They just forget that they are making a new discussion and they are supposed to talk with the new post to make it a discussion rather than a poll page. And that's one of the reasons I do not turn on for all. Some people just don't want to discuss. But hey, there are more people here who love to continue a discussion rather than just post a comment and finish it. So look out for discussions from such people and you are bound to have some real nice time on myLot.

Hi eshaan, there are so many emails plus the ones received from daily, and I dislike to see load of them in my mail box so after reading them I would delete them straight away. I would remain the ones which I’m interested only. I don’t reply discussions straight away I would do it only during my leisure, so very often I would miss some of them. 
I don’t turn on the notification of friends who are totally not interested in all of my topics. I prefer to search interesting topics from friends’ discussion only. So I can find out topics from those friends who have same interest with me.
I have great interest to respond to anyone who has responded my discussions. Of course I would try to reply to those which are within my ability or I have knowledge related to the topic.
