Do you ever forget to take the trash cans to the curb on trash day?

I'm a good little girl and put my trash out every Sunday night for Monday pickup and then when i come home from work back it goes..

I havent for along time and since my husband took that over he remembers every week,for only being the two of us we sure can fill up those trash bagsYou have a great night.

Back in my home country I forgot this so many times it wasn't funny! I would be laying in bed early morning and hear the garbage truck and then run like the wind to try to catch them in time! lol. At the moment though I am fortunate that this is not something I have to remember anymore. We have people working in the building come to our apartment several times a week and take our rubbish for us.

My husband is in charge of taking out the trash here. He's never forgotten, or at least not that I remember.

I live in an apartment and so do not take it to the curb and dispose of it from the apartment as needed! I just wanted to add here that it just goes to show you haw helpful it is to recycle and Green Bin if it is available in your community! ~Heavens~

The garbage truck comes to colletct trash every Tuesday and Friday... but since i live at the third floor of an apartment building... my landlady assigned someone to bring the trash bags down... so if i don't put it outside my door... i would have to bring it to the garbage truck when it arrives... so i dare not forget to put my trash outside...

I had to laugh when I saw this discussion. I am always telling my husband that his only job is making sure the garbage cans get to the curb. He probably only gets them there once a month! The other three weeks my oldest daughter or myself is dragging the cans to the curb quickly before the garbage truck gets there, and complaining the whole time. The last few weeks I have been making him take them out the night before so he does not forget.

Thankfully we have a dumpster at our apartments...actually several dumpsters...so I never have to remember to put the trash out. When we did have to sit the trash out I was forever forgetting to take it out there...then I'd have to wait for the next week and then there'd be tons to sit out. i'm more liable to forget the big junk on trash day. we're allowed to throw out appliances and whatnot,and sometimes i lose track of what day it is to put it out there.

Hello dear beauty queen. Here in my living quarter, we have a cleaner who comes to pick up the trash bags we leave outside the gate every day. In fact, she also sweep the ground outside our building every morning and afternoon. It is a hard for her and I appreciate her for her hard job. But in my school, we take our garbage bag to the trash can and there is a man who drives his small truck to take away the trash every morning. Good day to you, my dear friend.

Yes, many a time. Recently my trash day was always fridays and so friday mornings I would take out the garbage. I took out my garbage yesterday morning, which was friday morning, and this morning when I went out back the garbage was still there. They must have changed my garbage day without my knowledge. I wish they would tell us when they change it but I guess they can't tell everyone as it would be too many people to tell it to. So now I have a garbage bag sitting in my lane and it is still intact but I am sure by the end of next week when they pick it up it will be all over the back lane as the animals around here will get into it. I don't have a garage or anywhere to put my bag of garbage so I have to leave it and hope for the best. I guess I should go buy a big garbage can.

I forget sometimes...well OK, sometimes I am just lazy too! But luckily they pick up twice a week in my town, so it is usually OK to wait for the next pickup.

Well I live in a town house apartment, so all I have to do is put my trash in the ben and the complex owner dose the rest.

I never forget to take my trash to the curb. I work nights and most of us in the neighbor hood put our on the curb the night before or the evening before. By me working at night when I get off work in the morning most of the neighborhood's can are already at the curb so I know it is trash day, before I come into the house I pull my can to the curb. I hope when I am out of work I will remember to pull it to the curb then. I know I am going to get a little mixed up in the beginning.

so far i haven't done that but that doessn't mean i want, lol. i forget things if i don't write them don't write then down but i haven't had to write that down yet.
