I use AVG 8.0 now. I used to use Norton & McAfee until I had a virus that both recognized, but neither could get rid of. Prior versions of AVG couldn't fix it either, but the 8.0 version did. With an internet-surfing teenager in the house, I think that AVG does the best job.

I use Avast antivirus, a friend of mine recommended it, i like the features of the avast, you can set up the settings to block some sites that you think its not good especially you youngsters.
Here's the features:
Anti-spyware built-in Web Shield
Anti-rootkit built-in Automatic updates
Strong self-protection Virus Chest
Antivirus kernel System integration
Simple User Interface Integrated Virus Cleaner
Resident protection Support for 64-bit Windows
P2P and IM Shields Internationalization

For me, kaspersky is the best of all AV. As a Tech Support one of our problems in our systems and network is virus intrusion which come in penetrate our system in deifferent manner. We already tried different AV for past few years, we keep on changing AV yearly after it's license expired. Until we deploy Kaspersky on our systems. It works really great! our problems with virus intrusion declined and our network became secure as ever. Even in my own pc at home i started to use Kaspersky coz i really performs as expected. I really like the features specially it's registry guard. Try it and you'll experience a real time protection.

Before I use Norton antivirus. But when it got expired. I used AVG it seems like it doesn't work for me my computer got a very strong virus and AVG can't do anything to it. So I got my computer formatted. And the computer technician install McAfee to my computer. He told me that this is a very good antivirus. But after 3days ! My computer got a virus again! And it needs my computer to be formatted again! So he went back to my house and fix my computer! He installed a newer version of McAfee!
Curse that site! I promised myself I will never ever go to that site again!
So my best Antivirus for now is McAfee! This is what I'm using right now.

I've been using AVG these past few years and I've no complaints about that since it is free to download. I like it that it is quite effective and it does scan for updates pretty often, so that helps to keep my version and signatures pretty current. I used to use Norton Anti-virus, but it is quite heavy on resources, and I don't like the idea of paying for licenses when there are other anti-virus software that can be gotten free, so I've stopped using NAV for a few years now.

I use NOD 32, I think this is the best antivirus ever. I have never problem to detect any virus. Only bad thing is that it does not have firewall, so I have to combine my antivirus with firewall I like the most CoMoDo, it is free and it is strong. I have no problem with this combination, these two programs works together fine for me. I was using also AVG in the past, but was not satisfied very much.

I use NOD32...been using it forever. You can download it for free 30days trial version, if you daont want to buy you have to uninstall it but you can again installa trial version, over and over again. But NOD32 will not allow you to have anyother antivirus program installed on your computer.
