Do you think you can employ a politician?

I was thinking about posting this topic in the interest of places where I live, but thinking again, I thought this may also be appropriate to other countries. WE all know and deny in some point that are politicians, are well, politicians (whatever this may mean, but for most it is a bad thing ) . So while I was watching a local news, they say our politicians were so corrupt that when they go private, you will not consider it hiring them in your company. If the scenario is you are a businessman and do own a company, when one or more politician of your country sends a resume to you, will you consider hiring them? Do you think you can trust them to be one of your employees? Come on, let's have fun in here.

Hi pehpot, There are some politicians here in Canada that I would consider hiring, but I doubt these would be in the majority. It seems that politicians have a bad name everywhere, but once in a while you do get someone who really wants to do the right thing. I know that all countries are not alike and of course I can't speak for others. Blessings.

I will definitely not employ a politician, but not entirely because they are corrupted.. Partly is that, they tend to take matters into their own hands, and still behave like they are the biggest in the company.. Giving no regards to anybody working with them.. haha =D As u know, there are some requirments b4 one can become a politician, and with that, do u think that they are likely to be under the command of others whereby he was once under the king or president?? lol

I would not hire a poilitician. They are all crooked in my book. they do not have our best interest in mind at all. They are all out for them selves only.

A person without enough ability is not qualified ,while a person without good figure is dangerous. We could not decide whether a politician is sincere without testing them, though it is common that many of politicians are corrupt. What'more, what a person did in the past could not represent what he will do.So in my opnion ,oppotunities should be offered equally. But more attention should be paid on one's characteristics.

A Politician goes corrupt because they have the power to do so. But thank God not all politicians are... but most of them are! So perhaps if a politician apply with my company I would examine first his credentials to get employed and then his track record as a politician. If he proved himself not corrupt based on his track record and academically he is fit for the job, then I'd hire him but if I found any corrupt action that discredited his name in the past, even if his credentials would show he has the ability for the job, I'd still negate his application. If he was corrupt before then there is a great possibility he'd do that same thing in my company so a big NO to his application.

yes a lot of them are corrupt and they always get away with it, and me too I would first look on their background as a politician and if they have been corrupt during their term I would rather employ under graduate than them.
