When I wake up in the morning it takes some time for my brain to start working properly it seems! Lol. It is only after a few coffees that I seem to be able to think straight! Are you like me? Or is your mind sharp pretty quickly after you wake up?

Thank God I am not alone, coffee does helped in the morning to get back on track, lol. And like you I am also quiet when I wake up, but after a cup of coffee I'm fine. Thanks, Riya.

My mind is pretty sharp in the morning if I've had a good night's sleep...which unfortunately I don't get anymore. The toddler and my work (not to mention mylot) makes sure that I do not get as much sleep as I need. But it just takes one cup of coffee for me to be awake. Once the baby is older and doesn't take up so much of my time, I'm sure I'll get back to waking up fresh in the morning (and that too at 5 am!)

Thanks for the BR, dear. Well, the thing is that I need 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep to be fresh in the morning. I do not nap during the day (even when I'm not working). So, I really need a good night's sleep (which I hardly get with the toddler). Once he's a little older and doesn't need me to feed and put him to bed, I will be off to bed by 9 Pm and that helps me to wake up earlier.

I think even I have a good sleep my mind still not that sharp, lol! Wow 5 in the morning and just one cup of coffee and you'll be awake, I admire you so much, you have a toddler and a working mom and still manage to do mylot. I guess enjoy just the time when you can have a good sleep and to look fresh in the morning. Thanks you so much for the response.

The same happens to me. I just cannot wake up and get going. I take my sweet time to get used to the sun and have to have my Darjeeling tea, may be two times before I get on my wheels.

ohh no we have the same problem...especially if i have a bad sleep due to baby is crying or needing milk that when i wake up in the morning i feel so weak and my eyes are still closed and then headache is starting to develop...but then i have to wake up and gather enough strength just to be able to stand up because the kids are all up and morning is a very busy time...and if i do not wake up then i will be in trouble...that is why i need to drink my mug of coffee first hand just to keep me going until 7pm and then finally go back to sleep again by 11pm just after mylot.hehehe.

That also happens to me. I need to have a couple of cups of coffee myself to get my day started. It is something else what a little caffeine can do to get you motivated. I am not sure how many people's brains are alert first thing in the morning but sometimes I wake up in different moods depending on what's going on.

Hi bamakelly! I agree that caffeine helps me a lot in the morning. Most of the time that I'm not in a good mood, when I don't have a good sleep. I guess everybody have different moods in the morning and those who can motivate themselves are lucky. Thanks for the response and have a nice day.

I have a "post-sleeping syndrome"(that's how i named it).I am slacky and "out of the zone" evertime i wake up.I tend to forget where i placed the things i will be useing in the morning. My mind does not works at all.Actually y mind does not want to function at all.All my mind is telling me is to go back to bed and sleep. But its not possible since i have to go and work.My "post sleeping syndrome" activities includes, cooking with my eyes partially closed, catching sleep while sitting in the toilet bowl.laying back on bed after taking a shower.Im such a lazy person.Good thing my "illnes" is not communicable.lol

It take me ages to get started some mornings,if I am looking after my grandchildren or going out with a mate, then I manage to do quite well, but as i don't work anymore and have not arranged anything for the day , whats the point, I spent years waking up and running to work or spending all night awake with a sick child I feel it is my turn to be lazy or take it easy what ever you want to call it.
