I am sure most of us do. I hate where I live. What do you do if you hate where you live? I know what your going to say, Move out, well what if you don't have a choice because you can't afford to move? Do you just stay untill you can afford to find a new place. well I suppose that is a sensable thing to do. What about when you hate your neighbors? That is the onlyu reason I want to move just to get away from her. She is a real trouble maker! I try to ignore heard but it is hard. Have a nice week-end!

I wouldn't say that I hate where I live but I wish I could have a house. I have a family of four living in a small upstairs apartment. I do not like my neighbors at all because they are very disrespectful. I ignore them mostly but have got into it with them once or twice. I like my neighborhood but I would just like to move to a house away from neighbors that are this close. We just have to wait and wait some more. We can't pay more than what we are already paying so I guess we have to suck it up. I would like to stay in my town but move to a bigger home that's a lot quieter. Maybe one day.......

You don't say where you live, but I would think that there are good and bad points about just about anywhere. It sounds like the biggest problem is with your neighbor. If you rent, and this person is a troublemaker, report her to the management. Maybe she has a history of disruption. If she is constantly at your door, or or using you as her personal amusement, you have to learn to tell her that you are busy, or that it is not a good time. Does she have too much time on her hands? Maybe you can suggest things for her to do? Other than taking a long walk off a short pier...lol. Find stuff to remove yourself from her proximity. Even if it's to go to the library and sit and read a book! Could you expand the dislike, or the reasons? Would love to brainstorm and help find a solution with you!

Aw, that's too bad that you're having problems with that neighbor. That makes it real rough! I think I've only ever lived one place where I just couldn't stand it, and I did move then just because I was tired of all the bs. Once I realized the situation wasn't going to change, I decided to move. Life's too short to be made unhappy! I like where I live now, it's where I grew up. I don't really have problems with the neighbors, but that's probably more because they live far enough away I don't have to be involved in their little dramas lol. I hope you find just the right place someday, with wonderful neighbors who appreciate who you are (or at least mind their own beeswax!) Wishing you a peaceful and blissfully-happy weekend!

i guess it's a yes and no.yes, because i'm used to the place, the environment as well as other things.no,because i don't like most of the people here.the people here are somewhat judging and quick to gossip.i don't like people who are like that.especially those who wouldn't mind their own lives and businesses.as a matter of fact,i'm planning to move away because of the kind of neighborhood that i have.

Where I'm living at the moment isn't too bad, the town in general isn't great but on the plus side the street we're on is quite nice and quiet and it's pretty handy for the train to get to work. The main trouble is our flat is very small - there really isn't anywhere near enough space for 2 people and a cat. So because of that we're going to move to a bigger place in a better town next year.

I don't like where I live. But its of course better than being homeless. I wish I lived in a place with better bus service because I don't drive or own a car. I wish i lived outside low income housing and had a place where my friends could visit me more often because the bus route is hard for them. I actually have a new place I'm applying to where I'm looking foreword to living if i get accepted. It has everything thing this place doesn't.

I love where I live. My husband and I designed this house, picked out the land, and had it built. We love our neighbors. They aren't too close to our house, but close enough if we need something. We live just outside of town, so not too far to drive and get groceries and such. The one thing I don't like is in the winter it snows and snows and snows! Oh well, can't have everything.

I don't have problems with my neighbors. I like the place where I am staying now. This place is convenient for me to access to all the other places. There are various complete facilities which really make my life easier. Lol. I think for your case,if you are really unhappy with your living place, maybe get yourself an alternative. Maybe there will other living cost of place which same as where you are staying now. Good luck.

That is so good you like your Neighbors, I wish I had never met her. she is a Drunk and a trouble maker, I had to call the Police on her because of the noise. I have been into it with her 3 times, I try to ignore her, but she likes to pick and show off in front of her Family and her Friends. Thanks for the respond and have a nice week-end.

Hi ya marciascott Do you really hate where you live and is it really because of one person? I am sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time from this person and it can living where you do very difficult. I wouldn't let her think that she has won by making you move, that is your home. I love where I live, my neighbours have been a little difficult at times but that would not be enough to make me move not at all. Actually I think that one of my neighbours is no longer talking to me, we haven't spoken in the week at all like we usually do because our kids attend the same school. Oh well nevermind!! I do hope things improve for you though, I really do!

Used to really like where I lived and as a kid growing up I always had my friends living just across the street. However as the years passed my friends started to move away and the area lost it's fun and attraction. My mates houses were bought up by the council and rougher families were moved in. The whole attitude on my street has changed people don't seem as friendly now and tend to keep themselves to themselves. My neighbours next door are one of only a few I get along with and whenever they go on holiday they often let me borrow their drive so i've got somewhere to put my car rather than keeping it on the road because my dad uses the drive outside our house. The closest town is fairly small and mainly consists of elderly people. Although we do have a very good football team and would go to end of earth to support them. The nearest city is huge however because of the large volume of immigrants living here now the whole city has changed and lost it's english heritage and magic. There's parts of the city I won't even walk anywhere near as there are often reports of stabbings or rapes...it's just not safe here anymore!!!!

For one, I can sure relate with Hating your neighbor. We have one that is VERY Nosey, and lazy. She has not worked in a long time now since being layed off in one of the Boeing layoffs quite a few yrs. ago, and I think her main thing now to do here in our Condo's is be the Condo gossip and make sure she knows what is happening where and when all the time, and then let everyone else know what is going on as well. Her and actually one of the members of our Condo Association board are like this, and it drives me nuts. We would Love to move too, but for now, we are here until the Economy picks up, and we can consider putting our Condo back on the market again for Sale as well.

I don't hate where I live although I could do with a little more greenery around my area. I am accustomed to where I live. My life is work and than to home and vice versa and I just go outside as little as possible. So the neighbourhood does not make much difference for me. © ronaldinu 2008

I love where I live, it's peaceful and the neighbors are quite okay. We just live here for about 3-4 years, but I'm quite content and thankful that we find this place. Anyway, as for the questions, I'll probably move out if I don't like it, if I for instance, can't afford to look for another place yet, I'll stay until I have enough money I needed to move out. I'll probably not rest until I move out to the place if I really hate it as well as the neighbors. Hope you'll be able to move away to your neighbor and find a better place.

Same thing for me, I don't like the place where I live. Good thing is, I will be selling my present house and find a much better place. I hope this will work out next year. I still need to save up and work much harder. Then, I can say bye bye to my noisy neighbor.
